As a Muslim traveler, I appreciated that there were halal-friendly breakfast options available. While the selection was not extensive, there were satisfying choices such as fresh bread, eggs, and delicious local desserts.
What truly stood out was the beautiful presentation of the breakfast. Every dish was thoughtfully arranged with a charming local touch, celebrating the country’s heritage. It reminded me how closely connected the cultures across ASEAN are, making me feel even closer to home.

Novotel Sihanoukville – My Honest Review
I recently stayed at Novotel Sihanoukville with my family, and unfortunately, the overall experience was below my expectations.
The first issue was the hotel's policy on outside food and drinks. There is a sign clearly stating that outside food and beverages are not allowed. However, it doesn't seem to be enforced. The corridor on my floor was constantly filled with strong food smells, and even my kids' room was affected. The smell became so unpleasant that I had to request the hotel to spray the room.
I also noticed that some rooms appeared to have more than five guests staying together. I'm not sure whether the hotel allows this or whether it is being monitored properly. I strictly followed the hotel policy and booked two rooms for my family, so it felt a little unfair if others were not following the same rules.
As for the food, both the seafood dinner buffet and breakfast were just average. They were acceptable, but they did not meet the standard I normally expect from an Accor hotel.
The room itself was comfortable enough, but the bathroom ventilation needs improvement. Whenever someone used the toilet, the smell spread throughout the entire room because the exhaust ventilation was not effective.
The biggest highlight of my stay was definitely the hotel staff. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. From the reception team to the restaurant staff and the swimming pool bar crew,

The hotel offers a beautiful beachfront location with stunning ocean views, creating a relaxing atmosphere for a family getaway. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
What truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Every team member was warm, professional, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Their genuine care and excellent service made us feel welcomed throughout our stay.
The facilities were excellent, including the swimming pool and direct beach access with the stunning view of the sunset over the ocean. My parents greatly appreciated the comfort and convenience of the resort, while my wife and I enjoyed the relaxing ambiance and beautiful surroundings. It was the perfect destination for a family vacation.
I would highly recommend this beautiful beach front resort to anyone visiting Sihanoukville, whether for leisure, a family holiday, a business trip or a romantic getaway. We look forward to returning in the future.

We had requested an early check-in, and she went completely out of her way to accommodate our appeal and get us into our room ahead of schedule. Her warmth, professionalism, and helpful attitude were incredibly refreshing after a long journey.
The hospitality here is top-notch, the property is beautiful, and staff members like Sovanny are the reason we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel before visiting the islands. So glad I chose to stay here. The staff, ALL of them, from the front desk staff to the maintenance crew checking on elevators, cleaners, and groundskeepers were truly warm and friendly with big smiles. A special acknowledgement to the F&B Staff “Votey” who was a bundle of joy to interact with. She always had the biggest, warmest, most-welcoming smile on her face and was quite helpful to me answering my questions about the area and serving me my food and drink orders. Overall a very nice stay. My only suggestion would be to include irons and ironing boards in the rooms. i had stayed at various hotels during my first 10 days in Cambodia and this hotel was the first to not have an iron/ironing board in my room.
