Hotels near Ambar Cocktails & Karaoke Bar

Ambar Cocktails & Karaoke Bar is a two-in-one venue in Siem Reap's Alley W where you can order cocktails and move between drinking and karaoke in the same space. The bar operates nightly from 6 PM until 3 AM. It draws a mixed crowd of locals, remote workers, and tourists, with a casual atmosphere that regulars describe as down to earth.

Visitors consistently praise the cocktails and the friendliness of staff and owner. The owner, who is from Colombia, is noted for mingling with guests and occasionally buying rounds for the bar. Guests mention reasonable prices compared to nearby venues, and several visitors returned multiple times during their stays in Siem Reap. One visitor noted the karaoke equipment could use an upgrade—specifically stronger vocal microphones and additional speakers—though this did not dominate their overall positive experience.

Come in the evening or late night if you want a sociable atmosphere; the bar is busiest after work hours and into the early morning. The karaoke facilities are available but not state-of-the-art, so manage expectations if you're seeking polished karaoke-bar production. It suits anyone looking for cocktails in a relaxed setting without pretension, and particularly appeals to people staying longer in Siem Reap who want a regular spot.
