Pros: beautiful decoration and style. The wood carvings and floor are stunning. Location is perfect for enjoying the city but quiet at the same time. Staff kindness and hospitality. Breakfast delicious and varied.
Cons: room needs a bit of extra care with maintenance (stained toilet, ripped bed sheets, brown water from pipes). No ceiling light making the room very dark. Not power plug at bedside. Swimming pool with freezing cold water is uninviting. Except for the cold pool and the small gym, the SPA services are all extra (eg sauna, steam room, massages).
Overall my stay was pleasant but the hotel cannot be considered 4 stars by international standards. I would stay there again.

Beds are uncomfortable and there's a big opening in the wall under the bathroom sink.
Excellent hotel with outstanding service
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Hotel Ta Prohm in Siem Reap. The hotel is comfortable, well located, and offers a peaceful atmosphere after busy days of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and everything was handled with care and professionalism.
The breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety of options, and it was especially pleasant to enjoy it in a bright dining room with a balcony, which gave a wonderful start to the day.
Above all, we would like to highlight the exceptional service at the reception. A young lady at the front desk truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
We have stayed in this wonderful hotel for 10 days and are sad to leave. The staff are friendly and devoted to ensuring each guests needs are met. The room was clean and z as luxurious- everything worked as it should. It was quiet and away from the front of the hotel. We also enjoyed the location, across from the river and the night market and close to stores and restaurants. A highly recommended place to stay!
