The guesthouse is extremely well located on the banks of the Mekong River. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable ! But I want to really thank the owners and all the staff who have been so incredibly helpful throughout my stay ! I was able to rent a scooter from them, have my clothes cleaned and even was able to take a shower following the incredible kayaking and cycle tour I also booked with them. You can book this guesthouse with your eyes closed, you will not regret it !
Great place to stay. Friendly staff with many having excellent English. Ability to use these guys for your Mekong Dolphin kayaking - they are experts and we saw a pod of 8-10 swimming near us for 20-30 minutes.
Rooms are clean and tidy with great air-con! Beds are very comfortable - I had a quuen-sized bed in my room.
Restaurant on the top level has great views of the river. Full bar also available. Board games and cards for a casual afternoon enjoying a drink.
Food is great. Enjoyed a spaghetti Bolognese while my partner had a pepperoni pizza.

We had a truly phenomenal 3-night stay at Sorya Guesthouse in Kratie! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and available to support whenever we needed. At all hours, from 6am until 10pm, we would find them in the restaurant area and they were absolutely exceptional throughout. The food in the restaurant is great, particularly the breakfasts which we had each morning featuring monsterous slices of delicious pumpkin bread! We also took a kayaking tour through Sorya to see the Irrawaddy river dolphins, which was an incredible experience! We loved every second.
The location of the guesthouse is perfect, right on the riverfront and easily walkable to cafes, restaurants, the boat to Koh Trong, and the buses from other areas of Cambodia. The rooms are fantastic, clean, comfortable, and really everything we needed for a few days stay. Water is provided in the restaurant area, and any restaurant purchases can be put on your room and paid at checkout via cash or card. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Kratie, and I'd highly recommend Sorya to anyone visiting!
I stayed at Sorya for 2 nights to do the dolphin tour. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and a good shower. They were cleaned daily, and the food and drinks in the restaurant were nice.
We did the dolphin tour, but since only two of us had signed up, we had to pay $39 each a bit pricey, but the experience was great. We saw lots of dolphins! Just keep in mind that kayaking on the Mekong can be quite hard work
Sorya guesthouse was an amazing place to stay at right next to the river. The kayaking was so cool and we got to see dolphins. Highly recommend to stay here if your looking for a great place to stay at.
