Sokha Siem Reap Resort and Convention Centre was a fabulous experience and we were happy we chose this place for our stay in Siem Reap. Everyone in the staff was friendly and always ready to help. Soriya at the reception especially went out of her way to help us with many things from calling a tuk tuk and helping us finding the places we wanted to go to. The place is huge and has a lot of variety in their breakfast. It's slightly distant from city center, but we in fact liked that because it was more peaceful to our taste and also very close to the Angkor Wat Temple. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend this place!
Excellent stay at Sokha Convention Center. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide variety of choices. The rooms are very spacious, the bed is huge and extremely comfortable, and the pillows are excellent. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The hotel is not in the city center but is close to Angkor Wat, which is a real advantage. Tuk-tuks are available right outside and take you quickly to the city center. Restaurant, bar, and a very large swimming pool on site. Highly recommended.
Close to ankor and a top notch resort. It's definitely grand and a short tuk, tuk to Ankor make it very convenient. It is a not in the heart of the city, so if you are here to boogie down and get drunk this is not for you. If you are mature or have a family this is it! Lots of dining options near by if you wanna' go local.
This is an amazing 5 star resort with huge rooms, giant bathrooms and great food. If it's about 5km out of the city center, on the way to the airport. Most tours offer a pick up from the resort and travelling to the resort from the city center costs only $3 on a tuk tuk. What's not to like?!
Great place yet to recover from COVID19. Purpose built convention centre with attached hotel rooms(albeit could do with some minimal refurbishment) and salt water pool. Most restaurants are still closed but many dining options few minutes away by tuk tuk(local transport). Service was great with honest staff returning my money and passport that I have forgotten at checkout in the room safe.
