The owners make the stay worthwhile. They are lovely people. The rooms are spacious and are all next to a pool and small pretty garden. It is a bit out of the way, but 5 minutes by tuttuk or 20 minutes walking to the downtown. It is very near the amazing circus. No good food spots super nearby. And the road approaching it needs some upgrading. But I would stay here again.

We stayed for one week and everything was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, we were made to feel at home. Both the owners and the staff are incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything you need. The facilities are wonderful and everything is spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped, and they also offer a convenient laundry service. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the room has every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The pool is perfect for a refreshing swim after a long day visiting the temples. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay — we would definitely come back.

Ben and Sihui, the owners, are the loveliest people! They were always happy to see me, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. They also provided great recommendations and were very responsive whenever I reached out. The accommodation itself is fantastic! The room looks like the photos. It was even more spacious than I expected. It felt new, was clean, and the pool area was amazing. The location is peaceful, about a 20-minute walk from Pub Street. Despite being in a quiet area, there are some great and affordable restaurants nearby, perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hello, 10 out of 5 stars I spent 9 nights in this accommodation and it was one of the best experiences of my trip! The room is very clean, tastefully furnished and very spacious. The toilet and shower are separate and that's very good if you're two. In addition, the water is reliably warm and the rain shower works well. The room has a refrigerator and a safe for the valuables. The air conditioning also works very well. The highlight is the bed! The bed is super comfortable and will surely be remembered. :) There is also a shared kitchen and a washing machine in the property. The pool is very large and has a good temperature to refresh. It is suitable for swimming but also for children. At night, the pool and the property are illuminated and that makes a very nice atmosphere! The accommodation is very nice, modern and clean and offers a lot of comfort but for me honestly the best was the hospitality and the ubiquitous positive mood. I immediately felt at home and the hostess and her family are always very helpful and courteous. We often spent time together ... sitting together in the evening and drinking beer was always a lot of fun for me and I felt like I belonged to the family. The hostess also took the time to show us the local market, which was also a good experience. I'm sure I'll come back because I had a very great time there! Thank you :)

The Secret Eden Spa

Spa & wellness 504 m 6 min walk 4.7/5 on Google

The Secret Eden Spa is 504 m south-east of Tiny Home — about 6 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “spa & wellness”.

The next two places under “spa & wellness” from Tiny Home are The Spa Siem Reap (987 m) and Relax Spa (1.3 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

The Secret Eden Spa sits on Sok San Road in central Siem Reap, offering massage and body treatments in a setting visitors describe as peaceful and quietly designed. The spa provides shuttle pickup and drop-off to and from hotels, and treatment rooms are separate, clean spaces with private facilities. Visitors consistently mention the calm atmosphere and the quality of the massage work itself as reasons to return.

Guests praise the skill of the therapists and the accuracy of deep tissue work, with several noting they have had better massages here than elsewhere. The reasonable pricing relative to the quality of treatment comes up repeatedly. Staff are described as warm and welcoming—the reception area greets visitors with iced tea and a cold face cloth. Communication through WhatsApp for same-day bookings is reportedly fast. No significant complaints appear in visitor feedback; the main point of consistent recommendation is the combination of professional technique, peaceful setting, and value.

The spa opens daily from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM (closed Sundays). It suits anyone in Siem Reap wanting a massage or body scrub without the hassle of arranging transport, and works well for repeat treatments during a stay. Booking through their WhatsApp number appears to be the practical approach, particularly if you want same-day availability. The location on a quieter lane means you can step away from central Siem Reap's busier streets.

Restaurants 859 m 11 min walk 4.9/5 on Google

Graines de Piaf is 859 m east of Tiny Home — about 11 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “restaurants”.

The next two places under “restaurants” from Tiny Home are Mesa - Restaurant (1.3 km) and Wild (1.3 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Tucked on Funky Lane in Siem Reap, Graines de Piaf is a small French restaurant open evenings only, run by a French owner who cooks and often talks guests through the menu himself. Dishes mentioned by visitors include bavette, magret de canard, pork filet with truffle sauce, duck in mustard sauce, beef fillet and creme brûlé, with meals typically served with salad and bread in the French style, alongside wine the owner is happy to pair with the food.

Reviews are consistently positive, with guests praising the quality and freshness of the cooking, reasonable prices, and the warmth of the owner, who is repeatedly described as friendly, passionate and attentive, including to non-French speakers thanks to an English menu. The one recurring caveat is space: the dining room is small and can get crowded and noisy on busy nights, with karaoke inside, so some diners have ended up seated outside among smokers, which they actually found quieter than the interior.

This is a place for an evening meal rather than a casual lunch, since it only opens from 6pm to midnight. It suits travellers who have had their fill of local cuisine and want a properly cooked French dinner with wine, or anyone curious about a small, personally run kitchen rather than a large restaurant. Given the limited seating and evident popularity, arriving early or booking ahead is worth considering, especially on weekends, and those who prefer a quiet indoor setting might ask about seating before committing to a table.

The Spa Siem Reap

Spa & wellness 987 m 12 min walk 4.8/5 on Google

The Spa Siem Reap is 987 m east of Tiny Home — about 12 minutes on foot.

The next two places under “spa & wellness” from Tiny Home are The Secret Eden Spa (504 m) and Relax Spa (1.3 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Set on Sok San Road, this spa occupies a spacious, well-appointed building where the arrival ritual is part of the experience: a welcome drink, cold water or tea, and sometimes a foot cleanse before guests are guided upstairs to treatment rooms. Facials, body scrubs, wraps and massages, including longer couples sessions with add-ons, are among the treatments on offer, carried out in clean, quiet rooms with soft background music.

Reviewers are consistently positive about the setting and the service around the treatment itself: the foyer, the hospitality touches like tea served afterward, and the professionalism and warmth of the staff come up again and again. Several guests single out particular therapists by name for attentiveness and care, and more than one review notes that pricing feels straightforward rather than inflated with constant discounts. The massages themselves get a slightly more mixed response — most call them relaxing and good, but a few describe them as solid rather than exceptional, with one guest mentioning a minor lapse in a therapist's personal hygiene that briefly took away from the experience.

The spa runs late, open from mid-morning until 11:30pm most days, which suits both an afternoon stop after temple visits and an evening wind-down before dinner. Booking ahead is sensible for longer or couples' treatments, though at least one guest managed to get in with only two hours' notice, and the staff have been described as flexible with appointment times. It works well for travellers wanting a proper pampering session — facial, scrub, wrap or massage — in surroundings that feel more considered than purely functional, though those chasing the single best massage of their trip may want to temper expectations slightly.

Bars 1.0 km 13 min walk 4.5/5 on Google

Charms Cambodia is 1.0 km east of Tiny Home — about 13 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “bars”.

The next two places under “bars” from Tiny Home are Ambar Cocktails & Karaoke Bar (1.2 km) and ASANA OLD WOODEN HOUSE Cocktail Bar (1.3 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Charms Cambodia is a bar on Steung Thmei in central Siem Reap, positioned near the main pub district. The space is described as roomy and includes pool tables. It operates from 5 PM to 2 AM daily. The bar employs a predominantly female staff, which shapes the nature of the venue and the experience visitors report.

Visitors consistently praise the friendly service and affordable drinks. The atmosphere and music receive positive mentions. Guests note the bar's proximity to Pub Street makes it accessible for an evening out. However, opinions divide on the primary draw: some appreciate the social aspect with staff, while others find the focus on staff interaction as the main attraction either appealing or intrusive depending on what they seek from a night out. A handful of visitors express frustration with the 2 AM closing time, noting that competing venues nearby stay open later and still draw customers at that hour.

The bar suits those looking for a casual evening with pool games and drinks in the company of a young, friendly team. It's best visited after 5 PM, any night of the week. Expectations should be calibrated to the bar's model as a staff-interaction venue rather than a quiet spot for conversation or a music-focused club. The early closing time is worth noting if you plan a later night.

The Living Arts Village by Artisans Angkor is 1.1 km east of Tiny Home — about 13 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “sights”.

The next two places under “sights” from Tiny Home are Pub Street (1.3 km) and Old Market Bridge (1.5 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

The Living Arts Village by Artisans Angkor is a working craft center in Siem Reap where visitors can watch artisans create traditional Cambodian pieces. The space is organized into workshops for stone carving, wood carving, metal work, silk weaving, and painting. You can walk through these areas during production and observe the techniques firsthand. Many visitors mention a hands-on station where you can try stone carving yourself. After the workshop tour, there is a large gift shop selling finished pieces made on-site.

Visitors consistently praise the welcoming atmosphere and the skill of the artisans, who are generally happy to explain their work and allow photography. The open workshop layout means you see the actual creative process rather than a staged demonstration. Most people report the experience takes around 45 minutes. A common note is that prices are higher than in other souvenir shops, though visitors accept this because the pieces are made directly by the artisans and the center can arrange worldwide shipping. Entry is free, though you are expected to visit the shop.

The site is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It works well if you want to understand how Cambodian crafts are actually made and buy directly from makers rather than through middlemen. Go in off-peak season if you prefer a quieter, more personalized experience, or expect busier periods during high tourist season.

Cinema 1.2 km 15 min walk 4.2/5 on Google

Sabay Cinema Siem Reap is 1.2 km east of Tiny Home — about 15 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “cinema”.

The other place under “cinema” within reach of Tiny Home is Legend Cinemas Siem Reap (1.8 km).

Sabay Cinema Siem Reap is a multiplex cinema located on Sivutha Road in central Siem Reap, operating daily from 9 AM to 11:30 PM. The venue offers multiple screens showing a mix of international films, mostly in 3D format, alongside 2D options. The ground floor has a snack bar serving popcorn and basic refreshments. Screens are equipped with air conditioning and working sound systems, with seating that includes adjustable armrests.

Visitors consistently praise the comfortable seating, clear audio, and reasonable ticket prices, typically around $2.50 to $3 per ticket. The air-conditioned environment is noted as a welcome relief in the tropical heat. However, guests mention several recurring issues: the men's toilets frequently malfunction, the snack selection is limited to popcorn and microwaved items with few alternatives, and while screen quality is adequate for enjoying films, it is not considered premium. Some visitors also report that most American releases are shown in 3D rather than 2D. The bakery that once operated here is no longer available. One visitor mentioned dark stairs inside the theater, though another dispute this observation.

This cinema suits visitors looking for an affordable movie experience during their stay in Siem Reap, particularly those seeking air-conditioned refuge during midday heat. It works best for flexible moviegoers who are not particular about snack options or cutting-edge screen technology. Arrive early if you have specific preferences for 2D showings, as 3D films dominate the schedule. Ticket prices make it accessible for casual viewing, but plan bathroom needs carefully given the reported maintenance issues with male facilities.

X-Bar

Nightlife 1.2 km 15 min walk 4.2/5 on Google

X-Bar is 1.2 km east of Tiny Home — about 15 minutes on foot.

X-Bar is a rooftop bar on the corner of Sivath Boulevard and Sok San Road, positioned just outside the main Pub Street strip in Siem Reap. The space has multiple levels and games—pool tables, foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard, and beer pong—along with a notable half-pipe skate ramp on the top level. It opens from 5 PM until 4 AM daily, with a rooftop layout offering views of Pub Street and the surrounding area.

Visitors consistently praise the atmosphere once it fills up after 10 PM, describing it as lively and energetic with a good mix of locals and tourists. DJs and occasional live music are regular features. Drinks are reasonably priced, with canned beers around 1.50 dollars and bottles at 1.75 dollars. Some guests mention a fire show as an occasional attraction. However, experiences vary noticeably: while most visitors enjoy the venue, particularly late into the evening, a few report disappointingly slow service and disengaged staff during quieter periods. The rooftop can be quite subdued in early evening hours with sparse crowds. One visitor noted the bartender appeared uninterested, contrasting sharply with other accounts of friendly staff. The quieter periods mean the music level is manageable compared to other nearby bars, which appeals to those wanting conversation.

X-Bar works best for late-night visits after 10 PM or especially after 1 AM when other bars close and crowds migrate here. It suits visitors seeking games, dancing, and a mixed social scene rather than a focused nightclub experience. Expect it to be calmer in early evening if you arrive before 9 PM, and best visited with a group given the games and social setup. The location just off Pub Street helps it maintain a slightly less touristy edge than venues directly on the main strip.

Markets 1.2 km 15 min walk 4.3/5 on Google

Phsa Kraom Market is 1.2 km south-east of Tiny Home — about 15 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “markets”.

The other place under “markets” within reach of Tiny Home is Phsar Leu Thom Tmey (3.5 km).

Phsa Kraom Market is a working wet market in Siem Reap where locals buy groceries, prepared food, and everyday supplies. The stalls sell fresh vegetables, fruit, fish, meat, poultry, spices, and prepared dishes from early morning through evening. Street food vendors offer Khmer noodles, grilled items, fried bananas, and other snacks at low prices. The market also stocks cloth, housewares, and other goods, typically cheaper than the central Siem Reap market. This is not a tourist market, and the selection and activity level are highest in the early hours.

Visitors consistently describe this as an authentic local experience, though opinions on the atmosphere vary. Many appreciate the genuine Cambodian setting, the quality and variety of fresh produce, and the affordable prices. The market can be chaotic and rough around the edges, which some find adds to its authenticity. Others note that the meat and seafood sections can be unsettling—the butchering happens openly and visibly, which may discomfort some visitors. The road outside has potholes and fairly heavy traffic, requiring care when walking.

The market opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM daily, with the busiest and most well-stocked period in early morning. Wear comfortable shoes and watch your footing on the uneven pavement. This suits travellers seeking genuine interaction with local life and affordable Cambodian food rather than a sanitised shopping experience. Those sensitive to live animal processing or crowded, unpolished environments should manage expectations accordingly.
