Bon à savoir
The guesthouse is open 24 hours. Note that reaching the rooms requires climbing many steps, which may be difficult for those with mobility concerns. A small breakfast of toast and jam is included, and guests can refill water bottles to reduce plastic waste.

I popped my head into a few hotels in town before finding this one. This is by far the best option. The owner speaks English really well and is very friendly. You can choose between a $10 fan room and a $15 AC room.
The top floor has a nice outdoor common area with seating, games and lights. There is a small breakfast of toast and jam included in the morning. There’s also a place to refill your water bottles, which is nice to see when trying to reduce single use plastic consumption.
The hotel has a lot of steps to get to the rooms, so if you have mobility issues it may be a concern.
The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. Bathroom had good water pressure and hot water. There was a mini fridge and hair dryer in my room. The room was quiet and dark at night-perfect for sleeping.
Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling through the area.
This place is a real gem. Especially for those who have been venturing off the tourist trail in Cambodia for a while. I think it's by far the best place for foreigners to stay in this town. It's a bit far from the centre of town, but the centre isn't much anyway, and it happens to be very close to the only restaurant in town that appealed to me. The shop next door sells cold drinks. This Guesthouse is so switched on with travellers needs, and the young lady in charge speaks excellent English. The WiFi is flying, the rooms are so incredibly clean, there's a fridge and a kettle. Basic breakfast is provided. And there is a cozy chilled outdoor sitting area on the terrace on the top floor. They found reasonable transport for me to the jungle temple of Preah Khan Kampong Svay. (I have previously tried to get there from 4 different places both this year and last year). They also arranged for me a shared taxi to my next destination. It picked me up right outside the Guesthouse. They do have fan rooms as well.(That option is not online). I didn't book online. Cheaper to just turn up.
The perfect guest house combines rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring cozy, well-decorated rooms with scenic views. It offers inviting common areas, including a sunlit lounge, living room for and dine in place. Attentive staff create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it a home away from home.
Comfortable room and superb service. In a city with few, or should I say none, tourist service, land lady Leak helped me arrange my tour and bus connection. Made my trip a smooth one.
Good place for staying and good value for money
The hotel is a good place for staying when visiting temples like Preah Vihear from Siem Reap or Kratié.
The staff is really friendly and helpful and the young lady speaks an impeccable English.
The room is good value for money. Comfortable, clean, with air con and ventilator, and little fridge.
The shower does not have a separation though, so the bathroom will get wet and its mixing system of cold/warm water wasn’t ideal (two different faucets and two different shower heads accordingly. Besides, the room door wasn’t insectproof.
Nevertheless, everything worked out well and I would stay there again if in the neighbourhood.
Nice self-service breakfast with coffee, tea, toast bread and jam.
