What a wonderful place, more downtown is not possible. Historic colonial house and renovated with love for the details. The rooms are spacious and with AC, have a large shower. Breakfast is super and you must try the roof top bar, great cocktails and BBQ. The owner Alex and crew are caring and always there if questions arcure.

Incredible property in the heart of Kratie. A long list of likes….. the welcome from Alex and the team, the building and all the memorabilia, the bedroom with amazing aircon and loads of space, the rooftop bar for dinner and drinks, the breakfast……. Hard to pick out one thing but the breakfast and the incredible coffee set me up perfectly for a long cycle in the heat!!

Roof top bar. Perfect for sunset drinks and eats. Delightful hosts will make you feel at home. Excellent cocktails and French fries. The bbq ribs are awesome also. Quite a quirky place. Even has motorbikes inside.

If you want lodging with history, character, and panache in Kratie, this is the place. A stylishly restored governor's villa, Privada Lodge is a delight. Comfortable rooms, baths, and beds, friendly staff, city bikes to ride about town... it's truly the finest place in town. Only 3 guestrooms, though, so book early!

I arrived in Kratie on a late Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, a lot of places are closed. Thankfully, the kind-hearted Nary, was gracious enough to cook me a meal in-between the official meal times. It was so sweet and she is a lovely host😇. The food was delicious and made with love❤️. Can’t get any better than this kind of experience, in a foreign country. Thank you!!!🙏🏼🤗🙏🏼
