Mittapheap

Mahob Khhjom Restaurant is 104.1 km north-west of Mittapheap — a short ride rather than a walk.

Mahob Khhjom Restaurant sits on National Route 44 in Takeo, offering Cambodian food in a casual setting. The restaurant operates from early morning through evening, opening at 6 AM most days and closing at 9 PM, which makes it accessible whether you're looking for breakfast or dinner.

Visitors consistently praise the food quality and value. Reviewers describe the dishes as tasty and delicious, and note that prices are affordable. The atmosphere draws repeated mention as friendly and pleasant, suggesting a welcoming environment for both solo diners and groups. With nine reviews and a solid rating, the place appears reliable for a straightforward meal, though the limited review volume means less detailed information about specific dishes or particular strengths compared to busier establishments.

The restaurant suits travellers passing through Takeo on Route 44 or those staying nearby who want a dependable local option without high prices. The long daily hours mean you're unlikely to find it closed, though it's worth confirming the Sunday closing time before planning a late meal at the end of the week. Go when you're genuinely hungry rather than looking for a dining destination, and expect genuine Cambodian food in an unpretentious space.
