The area
Kep Seaside Guesthouse is located at 33 NR33A, Krong Kaeb, near the beach, local markets, the crab market, and the riverside. The location is easy to find and puts you within walking distance of Kep's main commercial and food areas.
The room cleanliness is average, but the bathroom isn’t well-maintained, and some showerheads need repair. The room itself is simple, with AC, an extra fan, and a TV (not sure if it works). No hot or cold water, and I didn’t check the WiFi.
The staff aren’t very welcoming but are responsive and helpful when needed. The place is quiet, both at night and sometimes during the day. I felt safe overall, but I heard rumors about certain rooms being haunted—had a strange experience myself, though I’m not sure if it was real or just my imagination.
The location is easy to find, close to the crab market and riverside, but the guesthouse itself isn’t very attractive. The price is great for budget travelers—$15 for both single and double-bed rooms. Not sure if they offer better rooms at a higher price.
Parking is a downside. Car parking is free, but motorcycle parking feels unsafe since bikes are parked outside with no lock or security. That said, I’ve never heard of anyone getting their motorcycle stolen here. There are several resting huts with hammocks for relaxing or eating, but no BBQ stove and nothing for sale—just the guesthouse itself.
Overall, a good budget option, but don’t expect much in terms of facilities or security.
Has a view of five stars resort but the room isn't okay to stay. the room isn't clean, the light isn't good some broken. the bathroom is unbelievable gross. I've stayed in the hotel 2 times 2018 and 2021. I came back in 2021 just to see how what have improve but it getting worse. the outside area is great the view is great but should go there if you plan to have a overnight party with your friends.
I visited in 2017 this place really nice, but in 2021 super downgrade.
Room doesn't clean and equipment in bathroom broken. Entrance stairs very dark, they're turn on the light until 7PM or 7:30PM.
To me it's like a ghost building.
Not recommend to stay even price cheaper than others in the area.
Cheap but should be cheaper.
Could have been a nice place if everything wasn't under the standards. No hot water, AC barely working, TV out of order, light from the corridor. Beds ok and quite clean. Very close from crabs market, next to the sea.
I experienced very bad staying guesthouse in my life. It was in weekend and is too quiet apartment of about 30-40 room but 3 room staying only from my booking. Rooms are not clean...like gost building, not recommended.
