Hotels near Prime Cineplex Samai Square

Prime Cineplex Samai Square is a multiplex cinema in central Phnom Penh located on Street 337. The venue screens films across multiple halls and operates daily from 9 AM to 11 PM. It has a food counter serving popcorn and other refreshments, and accessible restrooms on site.

Visitors consistently praise the cinema's modern design and comfort. The seats are frequently mentioned as comfortable and new, the air conditioning is notably strong, and the overall atmosphere is described as calm and well-maintained. Ticket prices are reported as affordable. However, one family reported an upsetting experience with horror-themed promotional displays — a realistic mannequin near the elevator exit and frightening decorations in the bathroom area — which they found distressing, particularly for young children, with no warnings or alternative routes provided. Opinions on the surrounding area are mixed; some find the approach to the building unremarkable, while at least one visitor found it unsettling.

The cinema works well for a relaxed movie outing or a date. It suits visitors looking for comfortable seating and reliable screening conditions at reasonable prices. Those attending with young children may want to confirm what promotional displays are currently in place before arrival, particularly if horror-themed marketing is running. The venue is accessible via lift from street level.
