Good to know
The check-in desk accepts cash only. Rooms include air conditioning and fan options.
We stayed 2 nights at the Double Room with Pool View. It has the basics of what we need. The room has both Aircon and fan. The windows and glass door are covered / blacked out from the heat and light. There is access to the shared balcony. The view is looking out to the neighbourhood and looking down to the pool. We didn't use the pool though.
Pros:
- Located close to the railway station and to the city centre at walking distance. Easily accessible by tuktuk
- local street food stalls close to the hostel
- Simplicity and cleanliness of the accommodation.
Cons:
- the blackout sheets on the glass window and door aren't really sealed properly so the cool air from the Aircon was escaping from the room.
- the shower water pressure is low.
Great bar here which is very well stocked, although admittedly a bit overpriced as you can only eat western food. Check-in desk is cash only as well which can be an inconvenience.
The rooms were a bit depressing, at the end of the day you are paying for a pod room in Cambodia but I still wasn't impressed. Shower facilities were very dark and the pods are literally just metal crates with a fan, socket and harsh light inside. That being said I slept fine so if you don't care for comfort then it's ok.
The location is quiet and peaceful though, you're close to the night market and also many of the buses which go onward to Vietnam, Siem Reap, etc.

Cant recommend this place, shower was pathetic just a dribble it was warm tho.
Wifi is terrible have to keep swapping between 4 wifi networks as they cut out all the time.
AC broke on 1 day so it was hotter in the room than outside.
People smoking weed all the time in the bar downstairs.
And its not a nice part of town.
This place was awesome! I stayed in both the private rooms and the pods and they were definitely worth the money. There are great amenities at this hostel/hotel. Swimming pool, pool table, great atmosphere and people. The location is great. If you are going to Phnom Penh, I would make a stop here. Nicky, the owner, was extremely helpful and helped me find my lost stuff. I am definitely staying here again when I visit Cambodia next!!
Bedbugs! also the room reeked of cigarettes which I mentioned and the receptionist was like "ok" then left. Barely any water pressure and the exhaust fan in bathroom was broken. The air con barely worked...not a great first time in Cambodia.
