Hotels near MaLoop cafe and restaurant (Koh Rong)

MaLoop is a cafe and restaurant on Long Set Beach in Koh Rong Samloem, opening from 6 AM to 11 PM daily. It functions as both a casual dining spot and a motorbike rental operation, located about a five-minute walk from the Long Set Ferry terminal. The kitchen serves Khmer dishes alongside cafe staples, and the place draws both day-trippers waiting out weather and island visitors in need of transport.

Visitors consistently praise the coffee as among the best on the island, and Khmer dishes like fish amok and beef lok lok on rice receive repeated mention for flavour. The staff are noted for friendliness and language skills, with the owner described as flexible and helpful, particularly regarding bike rentals. One visitor's main caution was that the blueberry milk, while tasty, runs very sweet. Motorbike rentals from here are reported as fairly priced, with well-maintained newer bikes in good working condition suitable for exploring beaches, hills and off-road terrain across the island.

The location works best for those arriving by ferry who want immediate access to island transport without venturing far, or for anyone seeking a reliable meal and coffee break during a beach day. The walk from the pier is short enough to be convenient, though worth noting if you are carrying luggage or prefer immediate beachfront dining.
