Beautiful beach getaway. The beachfront bungalows are a dream - to wake up and watch the local fisherman out with their nets, and see the bioluminescent plankton crashing in the waves at night all from inside my room was so special. The owners are great (and Ollie the resident cat is soo sweet!), and the food is delicious. Would definitely visit again.

We changed our plans at the last minute and decided to explore the beach, then found this lovely hostel. We booked 3 rooms for 12 people and everything went great. The lady owner was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The room rates were affordable, making it a great choice for budget travelers.✨

If you come to Koh Kong and don’t stop by here than you are missing out! Young Wild and Free lives up to its name , giving you pristine access to the Ocean , good vibes and the friendliest owners ever. Maria and Tbow are smiley and wonderful souls full of encouragement and plenty of fantastic advice for the area. Without hesitation these guys are on your side, there to help you organize that dream trek or boat ride to the island or whatever your heart might desire. Whatever it is they got you ! You are likely to enjoy deep conversations, lots of laughs and simultaneously you can step a few feet away , hop on a hammock or stand with your feet in the sand and stare off into the ocean, isolating and recharging yourself in a unique moment of self-awareness where everything just feels right. Just to top it all off, a couple cute chickens and two lovely dogs make you feel even more in paradise as they patrol the area offering extra comfort, cuddles, and a sense of being with family and the sense of having a home away from home. This is a place where time stops for just long enough to take deeper breaths and appreciate the wonderful and complex existence of yourself and life as it is on Earth and beyond.

We had such a nice stay at Young Wild & Free in Koh Kong. The beach view is amazing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The owner is incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. We planned to stay for five days, but unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to the Thai–Cambodian border conflict, which was a frightening surprise at 2 AM. Thankfully, everyone is safe. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back again. 💙

A hidden paradise in Cambodia. Is it the view from your bungalow in the morning : sea, sky, waves that made us fall in love with this place ? Is it the lovely animals (2 dogs 3 gorgeous chickens, 1 cat) ? Or maybe the amazing breakfast we took every morning with your toes in the sand ? No, I think what made us fall in love was Thibault, Marija (the sweetest owners) and their volunteers Felix & Maëlle and the most amazing guest ! Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for 3 amazing days. Our only regret was to not stay a little longer ! ❤️
