Perfect place to stay it was amazing! And it probably is even better than AMAZING! Each bungalow had a private pool. Comfy bed and amenities. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food can be ordered from reception. Massage in your room for a very good price. Close to town but feels like you are out in nature. Bong Srey Minea made sure our family and friends were well looked after. She is kind and always wanting to help and make sure the stay is going well. Was hard to leave and say goodbye to her and the staff 😭 We will be back for sure 🙏🏽

We stayed here for 6 nights. The first night we were in a private bungalow with a private pool. It’s beautifully located and about 200 meters away from the main area, perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet. For us it wasn’t ideal since we were traveling with a child and preferred a shared pool. Luckily, switching bungalows the next day was super easy – thanks for that! The second bungalow was exactly as described: clean, enough space and right next to one of the two pools. The terrace where breakfast (and all other meals) is served is really nice. Service was very friendly, attentive, and always available. Breakfast was good with different options like Continental or healthy (muesli). The à la carte food was also good, so you don’t really need to leave the property. Whenever we came back from our tours, we were always welcomed with fresh fruit or coconuts, which was a really nice touch. The pools are great. Big enough for kids and for swimming. It never felt crowded since many guests were out on tours during the day. The property is located along a road, so it can be noisy at times. This is quite typical for SEA countries (traffic, roosters, dogs, etc.). The city is growing rapidly, and with that comes a lot of traffic and construction in general, which you will notice from time to time. Angkor Wat tours can be booked directly through the accommodation, which we highly recommend. We had an amazing driver and guide who showed us places you wouldn’t normally see on s

What a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. It was honestly like staying at a 5 star resort everyone is so friendly and helpful, the staff truly cannot do enough for you. There were so many lovely additions to our stay such as fruit platters, free mini bar, sweet treats and a gorgeous leaving gift. We also had a continental breakfast and it was huge!! The rooms themselves were so lovely with comfy beds and being spotlessly clean. They’re are also 2 lovely pools and the staff bring towels to you straight away! Phare circus is just across the road and there are always tuk tuks available to take you to pub street (which is free between 5-9pm) or just a 2 dollar fee! They also have options to book tours to the temples! Thank you so much to everyone who looked after us, you made our time in Siem reap so enjoyable! We would stay here again 1000%!! 😊😊

This is an incredible place to stay and it has been one of the highlights of our trip. It is a beautiful property, the pools are both immaculate and ideal for families. The rooms are amazing, the shower is hot and powerful and the bed is so comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight everyday and they constantly bring guest afternoon tea which is so nice. The staff are the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet. I highly recommend staying here as it is the best.

Trapeang Rung Restaurant

Restaurants 227.9 km 4.1/5 on Google

Trapeang Rung Restaurant is 227.9 km south of Angkor Heart Bungalow — a short ride rather than a walk. It is the closest place to the hotel under “restaurants”.

The other place under “restaurants” within reach of Angkor Heart Bungalow is Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant (228.2 km).

Trapeang Rung Restaurant is a casual dining spot in Koh Kong village serving Cambodian food throughout the day. The restaurant has a spacious layout with ample parking, and visitors describe the location as reasonably clean. The owner operates the place on a friendly basis, and the kitchen moves orders through quickly.

Most visitors praise the food quality and price point, with several noting the portions and flavour represent good value. However, the menu includes bushmeat, which may concern travellers with wildlife conservation interests — though alternative dishes are available. One visitor reported being overcharged and advised checking portion sizes and confirming prices before ordering, particularly for rice and meat dishes, to avoid paying inflated rates.

The restaurant opens daily from 7 AM to 9 PM, making it accessible for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It suits travellers looking for straightforward local food without formality, and those with their own transport will appreciate the parking. Budget-conscious visitors should clarify pricing upfront to ensure transparent dealings.

Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant

Restaurants 228.2 km 4.0/5 on Google

Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant is 228.2 km south of Angkor Heart Bungalow — a short ride rather than a walk.

The other place under “restaurants” within reach of Angkor Heart Bungalow is Trapeang Rung Restaurant (227.9 km).

Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant sits along the road to Koh Kong near Tatai. It serves pre-cooked Khmer dishes kept in pots throughout the day, with a fixed menu that changes seasonally. The setting is casual roadside dining with basic facilities.

Visitors give mixed reports. Several praise the taste of the food and cleanliness, noting fair prices and attentive service. However, other diners felt unwelcome and reported paying significantly more than they would elsewhere in Cambodia for the same dishes, with one guest citing an inflated water bottle charge. Multiple reviewers mention the pre-cooked nature of the dishes as a drawback, noting that food sits in pots for extended periods before serving. The perception of value varies considerably between visitors.

The restaurant operates daily from 7 AM to 9:30 PM, making it accessible for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It works best as a casual stop if you are traveling between Tatai and Koh Kong and want something quick rather than a destination meal. Check prices before ordering if budget is a concern, as visitors have reported inconsistent pricing. The halal certification will matter to some diners, but not to others passing through.
