I stayed at the Waikor hotel in January, 2024 while bike touring Cambodia. Found 3 big cockroaches in the room. Room is very dated, bed not very comfortable at all.

The hotel has many things to improve and update. Rooms are big but it lacks proper maintainance. Wifi was not available when we stayed their. Their restaurant have limited food options too. Only limited staff can understand English.

I had a cheap reservation for a room with agoda. But when I got there they said I don't have a reservation and they don't have any room for me , they said they are fully booked. Then I checked the hotel on agoda and I could have booked another room. They were basically liying to me and they didn't want to give me the room very cheap as it was offered at agoda.

The most famous hotel in Svay Rieng,but the building is a bit old and there are new hotels around. Many people stay because there are no other hotels with restaurant on the grand floor.

Hotel just for taking bath and sleep overnight. Furniture very old, the rate is worth 2star hotel. But the good point is has wifi free.
