This resort has been taken over by a new owner, and the one word that sums up our experience is: rude.
If you go there and plan to order food or drinks, make sure you get a menu with prices in your hands before ordering. We were shown a menu, but they didn’t let us keep it. When the bill came, every item was suddenly 20% to 50% higher. When we pointed out that the prices she had previously shown us were lower, the lady insisted that her costs had gone up. We reminded her that she had shown us a menu with clear prices, and that’s what we expected to pay. (It’s already overpriced to begin with, especially now that the new Chinese owner seems to be targeting Chinese customers.)
After a long argument—complete with her shouting at us in Chinese—we ended up paying about 20% less. Still too much, but honestly, we just wanted to leave.
So here’s a big warning to anyone planning to visit this place: be careful. We will never go back, which is a real shame because it used to be such a lovely spot.
Excellent place to stay with family
Nicely appointed room with large bathroom and nice bed etc .. really great friendly helpful staff and the food was delicious.. the big collection of full size dinosaurs scattered about are really amazing and kids will really love them
We will come back and stay again
It is a good place to have some food on the river house and get some fresh air, but not recommend for stay there, cause the room dirty, air con not good, no any service after 9:00pm only one security stay there, the room cost 60$/1night, actually the quality of the room and service not equivalent a simple guest house at the town, for me I really have a very bad experience at that resort, cause I leave that resort at 11:00pm (pay the money but not stay) and find other hotel for stay, hopefully the owner of resort can seen my comment and make a really change for the resort.
