The mall combines conventional shopping with dining, entertainment, and recreational facilities including indoor activities and a cinema. Visitors find fashion stores, cosmetics, home goods, and electronics alongside a supermarket, food court, and numerous restaurants serving both local and international cuisine.

Visitors consistently praise the mall's cleanliness, spacious layout, and wide aisles that remain comfortable even during busy periods. Phnom Penh Crown Stadium is 1.3 km north-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — about 17 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “sport & fitness”.

The other place under “sport & fitness” within reach of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa is Go Gym Cambodia (2.1 km).

Phnom Penh Crown Stadium is a 5,000-seat football ground that opened to the public in June 2015. It is the home of Phnom Penh Crown FC, Cambodia's most successful football club, and has hosted Cambodia Premier League matches, the Hun Sen Cup, and matches during the 2023 SEA Games. The pitch itself is well-maintained with adequate drainage, and the VIP stands provide shelter from rain and sun, though other seating areas are exposed to the weather.

Visitors consistently praise the atmosphere at matches and the reasonable ticket price of three dollars. The stadium is described as well-kept and entry and exit procedures run smoothly. Staff are noted as friendly and helpful. A few practical notes emerge from visitor experience: parking can be inconvenient, particularly if you want to leave early. Toilets are limited, which visitors familiar with Cambodian football venues say is typical. One visitor mentioned that hygiene standards vary across different areas of the stadium.

Weekend matches during the Cambodia Premier League season offer the most reliable opportunity to experience the stadium. Games are affordable and require no advance booking; you can pay at the gate. The venue suits anyone interested in local Cambodian football culture rather than those seeking modern stadium facilities. Bring a hat or use the VIP stands if you want protection from sun and rain, as much of the stadium is open air. Expect a local crowd and a genuine football atmosphere rather than polished, international-standard amenities.

STABLE Coffee & Bakery is 1.7 km south-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — about 21 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “cafés & bakeries”.

The next two places under “cafés & bakeries” from The Premium Place Hotel and Spa are Toto by Chi Chi ~ coffee, matcha & treats (sen sok) ☁️✨ (2.1 km) and TUBE Coffee Riverside (6.4 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

STABLE Coffee & Bakery occupies a rustic-industrial space on Street 347 with both indoor and outdoor seating. The café serves coffee, matcha drinks, and baked goods at moderate prices, mostly around $3.75 per item. The venue attracts a young crowd and doubles as a social hub, with a photobooth and adjacent clothing store adding to the experience. It operates daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, closing on Sundays.

Visitors praise the atmosphere and the quality of specific drinks, particularly the Seoul Vanilla Latte and matcha offerings. Staff are described as welcoming. However, coffee preferences matter here: some find the drinks well-balanced and strong, while others note the coffee tends toward the milky side and may not suit those wanting a bolder brew. Noise levels can be high during peak hours, with groups of young people gathering and photographing; the outdoor tables offer a quieter alternative if you prefer a calmer environment. The café has a partnership with Burger On The Table next door offering cross-venue discounts.

This spot works well if you want a casual gathering space with reliable coffee and a lively social scene rather than a quiet retreat. Come during off-peak hours if you prefer fewer crowds. The menu includes options beyond coffee, so non-coffee drinkers have choices. It suits solo visitors and small groups equally, and the adjacent retail stores make it part of a small cluster worth exploring.

This cafe on Street 1966 in Phnom Penh serves coffee, matcha drinks, and desserts in a space decorated with capybara plushies and designed for comfort. Visitors find it cozy and well-cooled, with soft seating that encourages lingering. The menu includes mochi, cheesecake, and specialty drinks like matcha lattes and hojicha. It opens daily from 7 AM, staying open until 8:30 PM most evenings.

Guests consistently praise the atmosphere and the friendliness of staff, who are quick to correct order mistakes. The drinks and desserts draw regular comments for being well-made and tasty. However, the cafe divides opinion on price: some find it reasonable for the quality, while others consider it expensive. Service speed varies across visits—some diners experience prompt service, others find it slow. A few visitors note that certain drinks, particularly sugar-free options, can taste bland or underwhelming. Sunday evenings draw crowds that make seating difficult.

The cafe works best as a daytime spot for working or a relaxed weekend visit, though arriving earlier may help avoid the weekend crush. It suits coffee and matcha enthusiasts, families with children (the plushie decor appeals to kids), and anyone wanting a comfortable place to spend an hour or two. Go in with moderate expectations about pricing and drink consistency, particularly if ordering without sugar.

Go Gym Cambodia is 2.1 km south-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — about 26 minutes on foot.

The other place under “sport & fitness” within reach of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa is Phnom Penh Crown Stadium (1.3 km).

Go Gym Cambodia is a full-service fitness facility in Phnom Penh's Toul Kork area, located at the corner of Streets 544 and 335. The gym houses cardio and weight equipment including a power rack and Olympic platform, along with group fitness classes covering yoga, HIIT, and bootcamp. Facilities extend to a rooftop swimming pool, showers with hot water, and what visitors describe as clean, well-maintained spaces throughout.

Visitors consistently praise the quality of equipment, noting it includes newer Life Fitness machines, and the cleanliness of the facility. The rooftop pool and variety of group classes attract regular members. However, the pricing draws mixed reactions: monthly membership runs around USD 120, which some find steep compared to gyms in the United States offering similar facilities, though weekend passes are available at USD 20 for Saturday and Sunday. One consistent complaint concerns the volume of music in the gym, which several visitors found unnecessarily loud during workouts.

The gym operates daily from 6 am to 9 pm, making early morning and evening sessions available. It suits those seeking comprehensive facilities with professional-grade equipment and group fitness options, though budget-conscious visitors may want to explore the weekend pass option before committing to a full membership. The rooftop pool is recreational rather than lap-pool standard, so swimmers training for distance should note this limitation.

Prime Cineplex Samai Square is 2.3 km south-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — about 28 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “cinema”.

The other place under “cinema” within reach of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa is Sabay Cinema (8.0 km).

Prime Cineplex Samai Square is a multiplex cinema in central Phnom Penh located on Street 337. The venue screens films across multiple halls and operates daily from 9 AM to 11 PM. It has a food counter serving popcorn and other refreshments, and accessible restrooms on site.

Visitors consistently praise the cinema's modern design and comfort. The seats are frequently mentioned as comfortable and new, the air conditioning is notably strong, and the overall atmosphere is described as calm and well-maintained. Ticket prices are reported as affordable. However, one family reported an upsetting experience with horror-themed promotional displays — a realistic mannequin near the elevator exit and frightening decorations in the bathroom area — which they found distressing, particularly for young children, with no warnings or alternative routes provided. Opinions on the surrounding area are mixed; some find the approach to the building unremarkable, while at least one visitor found it unsettling.

The cinema works well for a relaxed movie outing or a date. It suits visitors looking for comfortable seating and reliable screening conditions at reasonable prices. Those attending with young children may want to confirm what promotional displays are currently in place before arrival, particularly if horror-themed marketing is running. The venue is accessible via lift from street level.

HighGround Sky Bar TK is 2.3 km south-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — about 29 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “bars”.

The next two places under “bars” from The Premium Place Hotel and Spa are WIP Zone (3.2 km) and The WATERS Pub and Eatery (4.0 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Perched above the TK area of Phnom Penh, this rooftop bar draws visitors up for its open-air view over the city rather than for any elaborate décor. Alongside cocktails, the menu runs to pizza and Korean fried chicken, and the space includes lighting set up specifically for photos, letting guests move to a spot with coloured light when they want a picture. It functions as a straightforward evening bar and casual dining stop combined, open nightly into the small hours.

Guests are consistently positive about the cocktails and the food, with the pizza and the Korean fried chicken singled out more than once, and staff are described as friendly and attentive to questions. The view is the recurring draw, with several reviewers noting it as one of the few sky bars in this particular part of the city. That said, the praise is not unanimous on details: one visitor found the drinks measured smaller than expected because of oversized ice cubes, and another pointed out that the glass perimeter around the seating area looked worn and cloudy, taking away from the overall look of the place.

Evenings are the only option, since the bar opens at 5pm and runs to 2am daily. It suits travellers after a relaxed rooftop setting for drinks and a light meal rather than a polished or exclusive lounge experience, and the photo lighting setup is worth knowing about in advance if that matters to you. Given the mixed notes on presentation, it is a better fit for those prioritising the view, the food, and the service over flawless finish.

WIP Zone is 3.2 km south-east of The Premium Place Hotel and Spa — a short ride rather than a walk. It is among the three closest places to the hotel under “bars”.

The next two places under “bars” from The Premium Place Hotel and Spa are HighGround Sky Bar TK (2.3 km) and The WATERS Pub and Eatery (4.0 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

WIP Zone is a bar on Street 566 in Phnom Penh's central area, open from 4 PM to midnight daily except Sunday. The venue features live bands and singers, with an open-air section that gives it a casual outdoor feel. The décor is described as simple and creative, and both food and drinks are reasonably priced. The crowd tends toward an older demographic, mostly in their late twenties and above.

Visitors consistently praise the atmosphere and the quality of the live music, with multiple reviewers noting the friendliness of the band members and the good vibes for relaxed listening. Food and drinks receive positive mentions as decent and satisfying options. However, noise is a significant concern: one reviewer raised serious complaints about the volume of the music and its impact on neighbouring residents, suggesting that this matters if you're staying nearby. Friday nights draw noticeably larger crowds, so expect a busier experience then.

The bar suits those looking for live music in a casual, affordable setting with an older crowd. Visit on weekdays or early in the week if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. The open-air layout makes it pleasant for evening hours, particularly once the temperature drops after sunset. It's the kind of place to settle in for an evening of local music rather than a quick drink.
