A truly special place with beautiful facilities, perfectly organized service, and extraordinarily friendly staff. I happily and wholeheartedly give this a 5/5. The property looks exactly like the pictures online—possibly even better! Rooms & Facilities: The rooms are spacious with a wonderfully designed interior. They offer a great view of the well-kept tropical garden that beautifully surrounds the pool. Exceptional Service & Organization: The extraordinarily attentive staff (including many wonderful young people) made us feel welcome from the very first minute. A special thanks to the entire team for coordinating all our transfers and activities. Every driver and guide they organized for us was professional, helpful, and extremely friendly. This made our stay extremely comfortable and completely relieved us of the burden to plan. Atmosphere & Details: They go out of their way to make your stay utterly enjoyable with many nice touches, such as fresh flowers and afternoon tea. Food: The food was great and included delicious local options like Amok. Location: It is nicely located a bit outside the city center, which allows for perfectly calm nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can only encourage others to book here—you are in for a wonderful experience in magical Cambodia.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nature. It’s a beautiful place to stay, located just outside the busy center of Siem Reap. While it’s a little out of town, that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. The hotel is beautifully designed, with spacious rooms, stylish furniture, and tasteful décor throughout. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The breakfast was excellent, with eight different options to choose from each morning, so there was something for everyone. We also enjoyed having dinner at the hotel after a busy day of sightseeing—it was the perfect way to unwind without having to head back into town. The pool was immaculate and a great place to relax, and the complimentary afternoon tea included with every stay was a lovely extra. The hotel is also very family-friendly, making it an excellent choice for couples and families alike. We would happily stay at The Nature again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Its a beautiful little hotel with lovely natural decorations. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. The pool area can be a bit crowded at times, but it wasn’t really problematic. The pool itself just big enough to swim some easy laps or just dip in to cool down. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always checking in to see if they can assist with something. The one who welcomed us, Lee, even brought us some mangos from our home to try different recipes. The location is a bit outing the city centre, but it’s a 5 minute drive in. However, there aren’t a lot of local restaurants and shops around, so just prepare for that. A lovely and great little hotel!

This relaxing, well-designed boutique hotel is truly exceptional. As an avid traveler, I have never experienced better service than that provided by the manager, Roeum, and his attentive staff. The hotel is charming and intimate, with spacious, comfortable rooms featuring large stone bathtubs. Each room faces a beautifully landscaped garden and pool area. Highlights of the stay: • Daily Happy Hour: We enjoyed wonderful fruit cocktails by the pool, which the staff can also deliver to your room for a private pre-dinner drink. • Tea Service: A daily tea service with snacks is provided, also available for in-room enjoyment. • Personalized Service: While not a traditional 5-star luxury hotel, it offers a far more enjoyable and intimate experience. • Expert Planning: Roeum personally helps arrange TukTuks or private cars, providing detailed instructions to drivers to ensure every excursion is seamless and stress-free. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone seeking a peaceful and impeccably managed getaway. Note: this hotel is about 5-10 minutes from the Siem Reap by Tuktuk or taxi.

We loved many things about our 6 day stay at this property: • Spacious, homey rooms: It felt more like staying in a home than a hotel. The resident dogs and cats were an especially sweet touch. Huge rooms overseeing the pool with the nature and leafy theme. • Complimentary commute to the lively downtown street (Pub street) • Complimentary tea time: A lovely afternoon ritual and a nice way to slow down. • Affordable laundry: Very reasonably priced, especially useful for longer stays. • Water dispenser: A fantastic touch in Chiang Mai’s heat. The hotel provides reusable water canisters, making it easy to stay hydrated without constantly buying plastic bottles. • Custom excursions: Tuk-tuk or private-car trips with guides were reasonably priced and vetted by the hotel manager, which gave us confidence in the quality and reliability of the tours. • Exceptional manager: The manager was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We hope he stays in touch. • Reasonable price including our breakfast, free Tuk-tuks and excursions. A Few Downsides: • The staff were very young and clearly still in training. Trainees were friendly, but often needed more hands-on direction than you would expect at a fully established property. For example, laundry needs to be ready when promised. Not tomorrow or day after, right? • The rooms could also use better lighting, particularly at night. And given mosquitos, we would have appreciated more preventive measures such as mosquit

The Secret Eden Spa

Spa & wellness 1.3 km 16 min walk 4.7/5 on Google

The Secret Eden Spa is 1.3 km east of The Nature — about 16 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “spa & wellness”.

The next two places under “spa & wellness” from The Nature are The Spa Siem Reap (1.8 km) and Relax Spa (2.2 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

The Secret Eden Spa sits on Sok San Road in central Siem Reap, offering massage and body treatments in a setting visitors describe as peaceful and quietly designed. The spa provides shuttle pickup and drop-off to and from hotels, and treatment rooms are separate, clean spaces with private facilities. Visitors consistently mention the calm atmosphere and the quality of the massage work itself as reasons to return.

Guests praise the skill of the therapists and the accuracy of deep tissue work, with several noting they have had better massages here than elsewhere. The reasonable pricing relative to the quality of treatment comes up repeatedly. Staff are described as warm and welcoming—the reception area greets visitors with iced tea and a cold face cloth. Communication through WhatsApp for same-day bookings is reportedly fast. No significant complaints appear in visitor feedback; the main point of consistent recommendation is the combination of professional technique, peaceful setting, and value.

The spa opens daily from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM (closed Sundays). It suits anyone in Siem Reap wanting a massage or body scrub without the hassle of arranging transport, and works well for repeat treatments during a stay. Booking through their WhatsApp number appears to be the practical approach, particularly if you want same-day availability. The location on a quieter lane means you can step away from central Siem Reap's busier streets.

Phsa Kraom Market

Markets 1.6 km 20 min walk 4.3/5 on Google

Phsa Kraom Market is 1.6 km south-east of The Nature — about 20 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “markets”.

The other place under “markets” within reach of The Nature is Phsar Leu Thom Tmey (4.4 km).

Phsa Kraom Market is a working wet market in Siem Reap where locals buy groceries, prepared food, and everyday supplies. The stalls sell fresh vegetables, fruit, fish, meat, poultry, spices, and prepared dishes from early morning through evening. Street food vendors offer Khmer noodles, grilled items, fried bananas, and other snacks at low prices. The market also stocks cloth, housewares, and other goods, typically cheaper than the central Siem Reap market. This is not a tourist market, and the selection and activity level are highest in the early hours.

Visitors consistently describe this as an authentic local experience, though opinions on the atmosphere vary. Many appreciate the genuine Cambodian setting, the quality and variety of fresh produce, and the affordable prices. The market can be chaotic and rough around the edges, which some find adds to its authenticity. Others note that the meat and seafood sections can be unsettling—the butchering happens openly and visibly, which may discomfort some visitors. The road outside has potholes and fairly heavy traffic, requiring care when walking.

The market opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM daily, with the busiest and most well-stocked period in early morning. Wear comfortable shoes and watch your footing on the uneven pavement. This suits travellers seeking genuine interaction with local life and affordable Cambodian food rather than a sanitised shopping experience. Those sensitive to live animal processing or crowded, unpolished environments should manage expectations accordingly.

Restaurants 1.7 km 22 min walk 4.9/5 on Google

Graines de Piaf is 1.7 km east of The Nature — about 22 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “restaurants”.

The next two places under “restaurants” from The Nature are Mesa - Restaurant (2.1 km) and Wild (2.1 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Tucked on Funky Lane in Siem Reap, Graines de Piaf is a small French restaurant open evenings only, run by a French owner who cooks and often talks guests through the menu himself. Dishes mentioned by visitors include bavette, magret de canard, pork filet with truffle sauce, duck in mustard sauce, beef fillet and creme brûlé, with meals typically served with salad and bread in the French style, alongside wine the owner is happy to pair with the food.

Reviews are consistently positive, with guests praising the quality and freshness of the cooking, reasonable prices, and the warmth of the owner, who is repeatedly described as friendly, passionate and attentive, including to non-French speakers thanks to an English menu. The one recurring caveat is space: the dining room is small and can get crowded and noisy on busy nights, with karaoke inside, so some diners have ended up seated outside among smokers, which they actually found quieter than the interior.

This is a place for an evening meal rather than a casual lunch, since it only opens from 6pm to midnight. It suits travellers who have had their fill of local cuisine and want a properly cooked French dinner with wine, or anyone curious about a small, personally run kitchen rather than a large restaurant. Given the limited seating and evident popularity, arriving early or booking ahead is worth considering, especially on weekends, and those who prefer a quiet indoor setting might ask about seating before committing to a table.

The Spa Siem Reap

Spa & wellness 1.8 km 23 min walk 4.8/5 on Google

The Spa Siem Reap is 1.8 km east of The Nature — about 23 minutes on foot.

The next two places under “spa & wellness” from The Nature are The Secret Eden Spa (1.3 km) and Relax Spa (2.2 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Set on Sok San Road, this spa occupies a spacious, well-appointed building where the arrival ritual is part of the experience: a welcome drink, cold water or tea, and sometimes a foot cleanse before guests are guided upstairs to treatment rooms. Facials, body scrubs, wraps and massages, including longer couples sessions with add-ons, are among the treatments on offer, carried out in clean, quiet rooms with soft background music.

Reviewers are consistently positive about the setting and the service around the treatment itself: the foyer, the hospitality touches like tea served afterward, and the professionalism and warmth of the staff come up again and again. Several guests single out particular therapists by name for attentiveness and care, and more than one review notes that pricing feels straightforward rather than inflated with constant discounts. The massages themselves get a slightly more mixed response — most call them relaxing and good, but a few describe them as solid rather than exceptional, with one guest mentioning a minor lapse in a therapist's personal hygiene that briefly took away from the experience.

The spa runs late, open from mid-morning until 11:30pm most days, which suits both an afternoon stop after temple visits and an evening wind-down before dinner. Booking ahead is sensible for longer or couples' treatments, though at least one guest managed to get in with only two hours' notice, and the staff have been described as flexible with appointment times. It works well for travellers wanting a proper pampering session — facial, scrub, wrap or massage — in surroundings that feel more considered than purely functional, though those chasing the single best massage of their trip may want to temper expectations slightly.

Bars 1.9 km 23 min walk 4.5/5 on Google

Charms Cambodia is 1.9 km east of The Nature — about 23 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “bars”.

The next two places under “bars” from The Nature are Ambar Cocktails & Karaoke Bar (2.1 km) and ASANA OLD WOODEN HOUSE Cocktail Bar (2.1 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

Charms Cambodia is a bar on Steung Thmei in central Siem Reap, positioned near the main pub district. The space is described as roomy and includes pool tables. It operates from 5 PM to 2 AM daily. The bar employs a predominantly female staff, which shapes the nature of the venue and the experience visitors report.

Visitors consistently praise the friendly service and affordable drinks. The atmosphere and music receive positive mentions. Guests note the bar's proximity to Pub Street makes it accessible for an evening out. However, opinions divide on the primary draw: some appreciate the social aspect with staff, while others find the focus on staff interaction as the main attraction either appealing or intrusive depending on what they seek from a night out. A handful of visitors express frustration with the 2 AM closing time, noting that competing venues nearby stay open later and still draw customers at that hour.

The bar suits those looking for a casual evening with pool games and drinks in the company of a young, friendly team. It's best visited after 5 PM, any night of the week. Expectations should be calibrated to the bar's model as a staff-interaction venue rather than a quiet spot for conversation or a music-focused club. The early closing time is worth noting if you plan a later night.

The Living Arts Village by Artisans Angkor is 1.9 km east of The Nature — about 23 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “sights”.

The next two places under “sights” from The Nature are Pub Street (2.2 km) and Old Market Bridge (2.3 km), so there is a choice within a few minutes.

The Living Arts Village by Artisans Angkor is a working craft center in Siem Reap where visitors can watch artisans create traditional Cambodian pieces. The space is organized into workshops for stone carving, wood carving, metal work, silk weaving, and painting. You can walk through these areas during production and observe the techniques firsthand. Many visitors mention a hands-on station where you can try stone carving yourself. After the workshop tour, there is a large gift shop selling finished pieces made on-site.

Visitors consistently praise the welcoming atmosphere and the skill of the artisans, who are generally happy to explain their work and allow photography. The open workshop layout means you see the actual creative process rather than a staged demonstration. Most people report the experience takes around 45 minutes. A common note is that prices are higher than in other souvenir shops, though visitors accept this because the pieces are made directly by the artisans and the center can arrange worldwide shipping. Entry is free, though you are expected to visit the shop.

The site is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It works well if you want to understand how Cambodian crafts are actually made and buy directly from makers rather than through middlemen. Go in off-peak season if you prefer a quieter, more personalized experience, or expect busier periods during high tourist season.

Cinema 2.0 km 25 min walk 4.2/5 on Google

Sabay Cinema Siem Reap is 2.0 km east of The Nature — about 25 minutes on foot. It is the closest place to the hotel under “cinema”.

The other place under “cinema” within reach of The Nature is Legend Cinemas Siem Reap (2.7 km).

Sabay Cinema Siem Reap is a multiplex cinema located on Sivutha Road in central Siem Reap, operating daily from 9 AM to 11:30 PM. The venue offers multiple screens showing a mix of international films, mostly in 3D format, alongside 2D options. The ground floor has a snack bar serving popcorn and basic refreshments. Screens are equipped with air conditioning and working sound systems, with seating that includes adjustable armrests.

Visitors consistently praise the comfortable seating, clear audio, and reasonable ticket prices, typically around $2.50 to $3 per ticket. The air-conditioned environment is noted as a welcome relief in the tropical heat. However, guests mention several recurring issues: the men's toilets frequently malfunction, the snack selection is limited to popcorn and microwaved items with few alternatives, and while screen quality is adequate for enjoying films, it is not considered premium. Some visitors also report that most American releases are shown in 3D rather than 2D. The bakery that once operated here is no longer available. One visitor mentioned dark stairs inside the theater, though another dispute this observation.

This cinema suits visitors looking for an affordable movie experience during their stay in Siem Reap, particularly those seeking air-conditioned refuge during midday heat. It works best for flexible moviegoers who are not particular about snack options or cutting-edge screen technology. Arrive early if you have specific preferences for 2D showings, as 3D films dominate the schedule. Ticket prices make it accessible for casual viewing, but plan bathroom needs carefully given the reported maintenance issues with male facilities.

X-Bar

Nightlife 2.0 km 25 min walk 4.2/5 on Google

X-Bar is 2.0 km east of The Nature — about 25 minutes on foot.

X-Bar is a rooftop bar on the corner of Sivath Boulevard and Sok San Road, positioned just outside the main Pub Street strip in Siem Reap. The space has multiple levels and games—pool tables, foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard, and beer pong—along with a notable half-pipe skate ramp on the top level. It opens from 5 PM until 4 AM daily, with a rooftop layout offering views of Pub Street and the surrounding area.

Visitors consistently praise the atmosphere once it fills up after 10 PM, describing it as lively and energetic with a good mix of locals and tourists. DJs and occasional live music are regular features. Drinks are reasonably priced, with canned beers around 1.50 dollars and bottles at 1.75 dollars. Some guests mention a fire show as an occasional attraction. However, experiences vary noticeably: while most visitors enjoy the venue, particularly late into the evening, a few report disappointingly slow service and disengaged staff during quieter periods. The rooftop can be quite subdued in early evening hours with sparse crowds. One visitor noted the bartender appeared uninterested, contrasting sharply with other accounts of friendly staff. The quieter periods mean the music level is manageable compared to other nearby bars, which appeals to those wanting conversation.

X-Bar works best for late-night visits after 10 PM or especially after 1 AM when other bars close and crowds migrate here. It suits visitors seeking games, dancing, and a mixed social scene rather than a focused nightclub experience. Expect it to be calmer in early evening if you arrive before 9 PM, and best visited with a group given the games and social setup. The location just off Pub Street helps it maintain a slightly less touristy edge than venues directly on the main strip.
