Not the best not the worst. You’re paying for the location and the view, the hotel itself is quite poor in terms of facilities and quality of the rooms. We paid $150 for two nights with no complementary breakfast. Breakfast is $6USD PP. The staff are nice and friendly, but unfortunately the whole place is quite run down. The pool has not been updated in a long time and the tiles are very cracked and broken. The aesthetics of the place have not been updated in a very long time and the photos reflect the rooms ten years + ago. The view is beautiful and the location is directly across from the beach. The circuit of the lights and aircon is also attached to the fridge so our food went off when we went out for the day. There is also no safe for your passports. It was ok for a couple of days but I wouldn’t stay longer than that. Overall 2/5.
I really liked the beach house. It has a bit of old world charm and staff and friendly. There’s no lift so this could be challenging for some as there is a fair amount of stairs. Room is not luxurious but does have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely location at the quieter end of Kep beach.
Lovely veg fried rice for breakfast with a stunning view, there are western breakfast options too.
We really enjoyed our stay at “the beach house” location is excellent right across from kep beach, it is not overly modern and slick, but it is quaint and cozy with great ambience. It gives the feel of a classic beach side cottage, lots of rock work, great layout, beautiful simple design, the common area was welcoming and a nice place to relax the pool was beautiful. We had the breakfast included, and it was a very nice breakfast, all the staff went out of their way to be genuinely friendly to help us with anything that we needed and seemed to be generally concerned that we had a nice time in Kep.
One morning the manager asked if we had plans for dinner and recommended that we try the restaurant on the hotel grounds, so we decided to try that evening, and the food was delicious, prepared expertly and was hot and served very quickly. Again, this is not a fancy resort, but it was a wonderful quaint hotel. It reminded me of a nice bed-and-breakfast and some of the historic towns in America, I would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful hotel directly on the beach. Excellent view. Great food and very clean. Also spacious and comfortable common space to hang out and have coffee or a cocktail.
