About The 252 Boutique Hotel

The 252 Boutique Hotel is a small hotel at Street 252 #11 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. At its centre is a planted courtyard with a swimming pool, pergolas and shaded seating. Food is served on site: a Swiss-style breakfast prepared fresh each morning, and a lunch menu with a selection of both Western and Khmer dishes.

Rooms are large and plainly furnished — spartan rather than cosy — with air conditioning, modern bathrooms and the essentials for a short stay. Some look onto the pool; rooms at the back of the building have no outlook, so it is worth requesting a pool-view room when booking.

It suits travellers who want a quiet base within reach of the city's restaurants and shops, somewhere to swim and sit out between trips into town, and who value a clean, functional room and food on site over elaborate decor. For first-time visitors to Phnom Penh it works as an easy place to come back to,...

An absolute oasis of peace in the havoc of Phnom Penh, tucked away in a quiet street in a busy area - perfect. Rooms are basic but comfortable with everything you need and good aircon. Nicole and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, The Pool and lounging areas are very relaxing. Food is very good and the Swiss breakfast is what ALL hotels should offer. Brilliant.

Amazing staff who are super friendly and demonstrate true hospitality! I felt like I was home. The rooms were always cleaned well, beautiful pool and relaxing place close to many restaurants and stores. Easy to get anywhere from the hotel and staff help explain! The food is delicious, too, with western and khmer options. You'll love it. The hotel staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Amazing management, Nicole and Stefan. If they're not too busy ask for their story. Wish I could give 7 stars!

Recently spent 2 nights here without knowing Phnom Penh at all. The rooms are big, well cleaned and spartan. They contain all the essentials you need but could be better described as monastic rather than cosy. Breakfast if not expansive was at least freshly prepared, well presented, varied and adaquate. We also had lunch one of the days and the same comment applies all be it tastier and the was a good selection of meals. The verdant courtyard/swimming area is wonderful and contrasts sharply with the neighborhood. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the vacinity but you don't feel central. The two ladies managing the premises were very pleasent, helpful and attentive. On the downside the beds are rock hard and there was no hot water. The air conditioning is also well past its best. The whole concept might be due a good polish if not a refresh in the near future. That said the stay was overall pleasant enough with the exception of the bed, a third night would have been too much. Would have given 3.5 stars if possible.

Have stayed here twice whilst in Phnom Penh. Was recommended by a friend. Absolutely great little place and excellent value for money. When you are chilling by the pool you forget you are in a suffocating city. A little oasis. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are modern and rooms (although basic) are incredibly clean and bed is comfortable so a good nights sleep can be had.

Great little hotel. Perfect for us. Great breakfast. Beautiful pergolas. Rooms a little spartan but nothing to complain about, maybe the lack of hot water. If you go there get a room with pool view. The rooms in the back have no view or whatsoever. The owner and staff were really helpful and welcoming.

EE-cafe is 46.2 km west of The 252 Boutique Hotel — a short ride rather than a walk.

This countryside café in Kirirom offers coffee in a spacious, clean setting. Visitors find it a peaceful spot with functioning facilities, though it serves drinks rather than food. The atmosphere appeals to those seeking a quiet break in a rural location.

Guests consistently highlight the coffee quality and reasonable prices, along with the cleanliness of the space and toilets. Several mention the peacefulness of the setting. One visitor noted the limitation that food is not served here, only beverages, which is worth knowing if you plan a longer stop. The overall feedback suggests a straightforward, functional café rather than a destination venue.

The café suits travellers passing through Kirirom who want a coffee break without fanfare, or anyone seeking a calm spot away from busier areas. Go expecting coffee and a quiet atmosphere, not a meal or elaborate service. The rural location means it works best as a planned stop rather than a casual drop-in.
