About Shinta Mani Wild

Shinta Mani Wild is a hotel in the forest near Kirirom, Cambodia, in Prey Praseth Village, Kampong Seila. Guests are collected by vehicle and arrive at camp by zipline through the rainforest canopy, landing directly at the camp where a welcome drink is waiting. Accommodation is in tents that are architecturally designed, secluded and fully appointed, set within the surrounding forest.

The property runs a broad activity programme pitched at several levels of physical effort, so it suits both active travellers and older or less mobile guests. Options include boat rides, kayaking, hiking, cooking classes and a spa. Guests can also join camera trap sessions and animal patrols, where staff explain how wildlife monitoring is carried out on the ground.

I have been fortunate to stay at some incredible hotels around the world, but Shinta Mani Wild is truly in a category of its own. From the moment I zip-lined into the property, I knew this wasn't going to be a normal hotel experience. And somehow, it only got better from there. The food was phenomenal throughout my stay, and I loved that you can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you want. One morning I was hiking through the Cambodian jungle, another highlight was hopping on the back of a motorcycle with the Wildlife Alliance and getting a firsthand look at the conservation work they are doing to protect this extraordinary place. Then you come back to your tent, have an incredible spa treatment, and end the day soaking in the bathtub on your private balcony surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. That contrast is what makes this place so special. But as amazing as the setting and experiences are, the Cambodian staff were what I will remember most. Every person I interacted with was gracious, warm, genuine and incredibly proud to share this special part of their country with you. They make you feel less like a hotel guest and more like you've been welcomed into their home. I also love that there is a real purpose behind Shinta Mani Wild. This isn't luxury dropped into the middle of the jungle simply because it looks beautiful. Conservation, the surrounding communities and the people who live here are part of the ethos of the entire experience. I've spent my career in tr

Shinta Mani Wild is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that defies expectations. The journey itself is part of the magic—after being picked up in a vehicle stocked with every amenity imaginable, you don't just "check in." You zipline through the rainforest canopy directly into the landing zone to be handed a perfect welcome drink. It’s an entrance I’ll never forget. The "tents" are architectural marvels—stunning, secluded, and so well-appointed it’s hard to believe you’re technically under canvas. The culinary program is equally impressive; we found ourselves eating despite never being hungry simply because every dish was a standout. What truly impressed me, however, was the thoughtful nature of the excursions. They felt deeply authentic to the culture and the rainforest they are working so hard to protect, managing to feel both high-scale and incredibly relaxing. The heartbeat of the stay was our butler, Daniel. He was impeccable, anticipating every need and adjusting our itinerary on the fly for a seamless experience. We feel so fortunate to have spent time in this pocket of the world. Pro Tip: Trust the "Bensley" aesthetic and lean into the adventure. If you’re hesitant about the zipline entrance, don’t be—it is the definitive way to transition from the outside world into the park’s energy.

A Haven in the Wild — Shinta Mani Wild Will Stay in Our Hearts Forever Some places you visit, and some places feel like coming home. Shinta Mani Wild was the latter for us — a true haven that transported me back in time to my grandmother’s home, to the simple, blissful magic of my childhood. I never expected to find that feeling deep in the Cambodian forest on my birthday, but from the moment we arrived (my husband and I - it was his birthday gift), it wrapped around us like a warm embrace. Our deepest gratitude goes to Sam, our incredible adventure butler. Sam didn’t just take care of us; he made the wild feel like home. Leading us on the anti-poaching patrol through the forest trail, teaching us to forage, and ending with that unforgettable swim in the stream — every moment was filled with wonder, knowledge, and genuine warmth. Sam, you are a true gem, and we will carry those memories with us always. The wait and bar staff were equally wonderful — attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of any need. To the bar team: thank you for one of the best Negroni, and for that welcome drink whose name escapes me but whose taste will never fade. I ended up making it my permanent drink for our entire stay. It was that good. A special shout-out to Chris, the COO, who generously took the time to join us at the sundowner. His stories captivated us, his presence made the evening unforgettable, and like every single member of the team, he kept us thoroughly engaged with wonderful con

The most magical trip we’ve ever taken. My wife and I have travelled extensively, but our stay at Shinta Mani Wild was truly something special. Every detail is thought through — from the conservation and anti-poaching initiatives, to the rooms, the food, the service, and most importantly, the people. It all comes together to create an unforgettable experience. It was my first time in Cambodia, and Shinta Mani Wild — and the incredible team there — are true ambassadors for how warm, welcoming, and inspiring the country is. We left feeling incredibly grateful for the experience and already dreaming about coming back. Most importantly, our adventure guide, Kim, was one of the most exceptional people I’ve ever met. His passion, energy, and genuine enthusiasm are on another level. He made our trip feel deeply personal and complete, and he had a real impact on both of us. We learnt so much from him and I’ll genuinely miss him. If you ever have the chance to visit Shinta Mani Wild, don’t hesitate — it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

EE-cafe is 75.5 km north-east of Shinta Mani Wild — a short ride rather than a walk.

This countryside café in Kirirom offers coffee in a spacious, clean setting. Visitors find it a peaceful spot with functioning facilities, though it serves drinks rather than food. The atmosphere appeals to those seeking a quiet break in a rural location.

Guests consistently highlight the coffee quality and reasonable prices, along with the cleanliness of the space and toilets. Several mention the peacefulness of the setting. One visitor noted the limitation that food is not served here, only beverages, which is worth knowing if you plan a longer stop. The overall feedback suggests a straightforward, functional café rather than a destination venue.

The café suits travellers passing through Kirirom who want a coffee break without fanfare, or anyone seeking a calm spot away from busier areas. Go expecting coffee and a quiet atmosphere, not a meal or elaborate service. The rural location means it works best as a planned stop rather than a casual drop-in.
