Grade A office. Normal lunch for staff available at the back side opposite the building and around Canadia Tower. Air conditioning ones with affordable price can be found in Exchange Square instead.

Great coffee as my friends confirmed. Myself, I don’t drink coffee but I drank Iced Green Tea here, also nice as it was not too sweet. Seats are not many, only 14 seats but you can grab and go.

Thanks to this museum, I could leave Phnom Penh with a sense that I at least grasped the amazing history of Khmer people. It came as a fresh and modern look at the lives and ways of people throughout centuries. Especially after the National museum which left me confused. The staff is friendly, the place is very cozy (esp. the garden with its cafe and a very nice coffee) and the history is presented in an interesting way through photographs, educational videos and nicely lit artifacts. I stayed there for hours. A bit too chilly for my taste, so I vote for long sleeves.

2 second times I used to visit here 3 years ago in march and now 2026 in march same day, I come back again I know that most of the people missed the majority of tourists in local soft power, classic vibe, history especially in PhnomPenh city. they should offer and allow us to take photos. there are hundreds of things in one. Anyway this is some of them. I appreciated that the SSR was actually a heart of art and the vein partially of historical evidence for Cambodians not only Cambodians also for foreigners.

Sosoro Museum. An exceptional museum—thoughtfully curated and clearly the result of extensive research and care. I was truly impressed by the depth and variety of artifacts on display, each contributing to a richer understanding of the region’s past. One particularly fascinating insight was learning that the word ຫຼຽນ (lian) traces its origins to the Indochina Piastre banknotes from the French colonial era. At one point, 1 kip, 1 đồng, and 1 riel were all printed on the same currency—an extraordinary reminder of a shared economic system across what are now separate nations. The exhibits also capture the rise and decline of the Khmer economy in a way that feels both informative and deeply human. It’s a powerful experience that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in Khmer history, culture, and economic development.

Great museum and very interesting too. Everything is very clearly labeled and the timeline of Khmer history is easy to follow. I was intrigued to read about the pre-currency barter economy and the value of the various goods used to trade in the Khmer empire. Super interesting to see how the economy grew, declined and grew again after the French protectorate. What is the goal of the museum? Is it to explain how currency works? The massive inflation in the pre-Pol Pot era explained in one room is followed by a statement that money is a store of wealth in the next room. Surely that’s a wrong statement to make. Sadly I ran out of time and missed the last section of the museum focused on the modern monetary system. Sadly no photos are allowed, which is a real shame. This is a must visit in Cambodia! It explains the economic history of cambodia and gives context to a lot of what has happened in cambodia. Can spend hours in this museum. Very modern and AC’d perfect to escape the heat. Very informative and a must visit! Staff are so kind and friendly too!

I went to buy some fruits. I decided to buy some orange jackfruit. I only wanted a few to try. I decided to ask for 5 pieces. At first they understood I wanted a whole jackfruit, then they understood I wanted a small jackfruit, only to later understand I only wanted a few pieces of it. They came with a small plastic container, when I said I only wanted 5 the owner was very upset. The stall owner next to her put 2 more pieces of jackfruit in, so, in the end I got 7. I didn't mind much. I was surprised she charged 8000 for a few pieces of jackfruit. I think it was overpriced but didn't want to haggle. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. She was very upset because I didn't buy more. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I tried buying some mandarins but the prices they asked were also sky high. I think they try to trick you if you are not local. I would not recommend visiting as it was

Central Market truly has everything you could possibly need under one spectacular Art Deco roof. The prices are very affordable to begin with, though there is still room to negotiate. Whether you are looking for fresh produce, children’s toys, or even a bespoke outfit, you’ll find it here. You can even get a haircut and a manicure while you shop! ​The layout is expansive, and it is very easy to get turned around in the maze-like aisles. However, that is part of the charm, and the vendors are incredibly helpful. If you look lost, someone is usually quick to point you in the right direction. It’s a must-visit for the architecture alone, but the variety makes it a shopper’s paradise.

The Central Market is a covered market that immediately impresses with its grand central dome. Beneath the dome, you’ll find countless jewelry stalls, while the surrounding sections offer a wide variety of souvenirs, including clothing, decorative items, and much more. It’s a vibrant place full of colors, sounds, and local atmosphere. The ventilation could definitely be improved, as it can get quite warm inside. That said, it’s absolutely worth a visit — whether you’re shopping or simply soaking in the unique market experience.

Great environment. I enjoy and surely you will also sure. However, it is also a bit pricey food expect for 5-7$/dish average and beer glass bottle of 330ml is around 4$/bottle. But yeah, great band and atmosphere.

Nice local dining and drinking place with Live Band performance and DJ options. Big arena with Stage view. Definitely recommend to go in a group to enjoy the vibe. Weekdays easy to get table faster, weekends might need to wait a bit, it depends on arrangements time taken by staff as they have surplus backup seating options.

I remember when the Phnom Penh riverside used to feel peaceful and genuinely beautiful. Walking along the river in the evening was relaxing — the breeze was nice, the city lights reflected beautifully on the water, and it felt like one of the few places in Phnom Penh where people could truly slow down and enjoy the atmosphere. But today, the riverside has completely changed. Most of the area now feels more like a giant chaotic night market rather than a tourist destination or public space to relax. The sidewalks are crowded with food stalls, random parking areas, loud music, and groups of young people gathering everywhere. It’s constantly noisy and difficult to even walk comfortably. It’s lively, and you’ll see many birds being fed by visitors. There are also boat tours if you want to see the river from a different perspective. It can get quite hot on a sunny day, though, so it’s best to go in the early morning or evening. It would be even better if there were more greenery along the river, but overall, it’s a pleasant place to stroll and soak in the atmosphere.

Discrimination at its worst against white solo foreigners! Don’t go there if you are not local and if you are solo. I came to this club alone on Tuesday at around 10:15 PM, well dressed and completely sober. At the entrance, I was told the club was “full.” (The previous night I came there at 12:00am and the same reason was given). I didn’t believe it, went inside through the other entrance, and found at least 10 empty tables available. Staff inside even allowed me to choose a table and order drinks (the minimum spend was 6 bottles of beer, their beer is warm). A short time later, the same staff member from the entrance came inside and told me to leave, claiming the table was reserved. Based on my experience, the explanation given at the entrance did not match the situation inside. If you’re visiting, be aware that entry decisions may be discriminatory.

Absolutely loved the vibe at Tōkio Club — the atmosphere is next-level and totally sets the mood for a great night out. Located by the riverside, on weekend where it’s car free day tuk tuk will drop you a bit far from the place and you must walk inside the riverside lane. In comparison i like BKK more, although this one also has its own charm as it’s nearby beautiful temple. The 4 cheese pizza still the favorite and quality, taste are consistent. Very busy place on weekend. Reservations is a must if you dine in on busy hours.
