GREAT PRICE VALUE, it's a beautiful, perfectly located hotel with super friendly stuff.
You are in walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a big supermarket and the famous pub street. Transport time from the airport apparently 1 hour. To the Angkor Wat temples apparently 20 minutes.
The pool area is clean, big and less visited.bso you might have your private pool.
Our room was with pool view. The rooms are of a good size also the bathroom. The equipment is old but everything is clean. You have a fridge and a coffee/tea bar.
As a welcome present you get a food massage (15 min ) for free but sure the spa offers far more and the prices are fair and the service is very professional.
They also have a gym. At the first sight it looks nicely equipped but to be honest the appliances are really old.
The breakfast is ok. They offer soups, salad, fruits, french croissants, miso soup, eggs, rice conge, juices, yoghurt and tea/coffee.
Incredible hotel that provides the highest standard of service. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast, spa and pool. Staff is absolutely world class and willing to help with anything you may want or need.
We had a wonderful stay at Sokha Angkor Resort; the staff was incredibly welcoming especially Davy at the front desk and Soeun who has such a warm personality and joy. The doorman who wears a beautiful ancient uniform is helpful and so friendly. Exceptional service from everyone. The room was spotless and comfortable with a basket of fresh fruit in the room on our arrival. It was a short walk to the pool and all the onsite facilities. Local tuk tuk transport is easily obtained and inexpensive. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family!
The rooms are big but a little bit old, we can't use the TV in the room because it's complicated to use it. It was all good until there was a blocked out (no electricity) around 9pm and their generator was not working properly. I called the reception if they have a backed up generator and they said yes but their team still needs to check it out. After 15mins the generator was working, but it was on and off every 3 seconds for like 15x before it worked properly. The breakfast buffet was good, but we really enjoyed the food at Takezono Japanese Restaurant inside the hotel. Didn't get the chance to enjoy the sauna and hot&cold bath we were busy and tired exploring the temples. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Just an amazing, hard working and kind staff. The service is nothing less than impeccable! A special shout out to Davy ( I am sure her name means Gooddess ) who was very accommodating and professional!! Thanks to all of you for making my short stay 100% enjoyable! - I'll be back!
