Spacious room and very quiet place. No noise heard next door. The bathroom only had a curtain instead of a door, so it was less noisy at night. No elevator, with 3 level. Location may seem hidden in a back alley, but it’s still walking distance to nearby attractions. Love the ambience and my stay here.
Highly recommend - big, comfortable rooms and excellent value. The hotel is in a little oasis set back from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh in a central location. I loved the peaceful courtyard filled with plants and greenery. Staff are friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
I had a pleasant stay at Saravoan Royal Palace Hotel. The hotel offers affordable prices with clean and comfortable rooms, making it great value for money. The breakfast was also very good, with enough variety to start the day well. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly hotel in a convenient location.
Stayed here couple years ago and loved it so I came back but my most recent experience (Jan 2026) was horrifying. Double bed in the first room assigned was filled with bed bugs. Was 4am when I felt itchy and noticed the bugs so had no choice but to stay up and wait as instructed by the staff because they had no other rooms. They managed to switch me to a twin room in the afternoon on a higher floor and to my horror, both beds had bed bugs too. I think the whole place might be infested.
Manager and staff were nice and prompt in answering to my calls but they didnt seem to understand the seriousness of the infestation and housecleaning lady actually folded the beds back ready for the next guest lol. Hotel said they cant refund me when I decided not to continue my stay. Thank goodness I booked via agoda so was able to be refunded credits.
I dont usually leave bad reviews. The room is good and clean as I remembered it to be, staff are nice and I really love the location and ambience of the place but... Leaving a review here to warn travellers to check your bed if you do decide to stay here. The management needs to seriously look into the bed bugs issue before people start carrying the bugs elsewhere.
Saravoan Royal Palace turned out to be a great choice for our time in Phnom Penh. The best part is the location — you literally step out and you’re close to the Royal Palace, the riverfront, and plenty of places to eat. It made sightseeing very easy.
The room had a nice, clean look and felt more premium than what we expected for the price. The AC worked well, the shower had good pressure, and the bed was comfortable. Staff at the reception were friendly and quick to guide us whenever we needed anything.
The property has a calm vibe even though it’s in a busy area, which we really liked. Good breakfast and reliable Wi-Fi added to the overall comfort.
A very convenient base to explore Phnom Penh. Would definitely stay again.
