The restaurant has a spacious layout with ample parking, and visitors describe the location as reasonably clean. The owner operates the place on a friendly basis, and the kitchen moves orders through quickly.

Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant is 39.8 km south-east of Oasis Resort Koh Kong — a short ride rather than a walk.

The other place under “restaurants” within reach of Oasis Resort Koh Kong is Trapeang Rung Restaurant (39.5 km).

Cambodian - Cham Halal Food Restaurant sits along the road to Koh Kong near Tatai. It serves pre-cooked Khmer dishes kept in pots throughout the day, with a fixed menu that changes seasonally. The setting is casual roadside dining with basic facilities.

Visitors give mixed reports. Several praise the taste of the food and cleanliness, noting fair prices and attentive service. However, other diners felt unwelcome and reported paying significantly more than they would elsewhere in Cambodia for the same dishes, with one guest citing an inflated water bottle charge. Multiple reviewers mention the pre-cooked nature of the dishes as a drawback, noting that food sits in pots for extended periods before serving. The perception of value varies considerably between visitors.

The restaurant operates daily from 7 AM to 9:30 PM, making it accessible for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It works best as a casual stop if you are traveling between Tatai and Koh Kong and want something quick rather than a destination meal. Check prices before ordering if budget is a concern, as visitors have reported inconsistent pricing. The halal certification will matter to some diners, but not to others passing through.
