I usually leave my reviews on the booking platform, however hostel world won’t give me an option!
I don’t think the lazy panda gets the credit it deserves. We enjoyed a 4 night stay here during our time in Koh Rong. Tee and Pablo made our stay even better, they were helpful and accommodating with any requests we had.
We were skeptical before booking, due to the lack of reviews online however we ended up booking on extra nights and cancelling our stay elsewhere.
Yes it is slightly further out from the main area, but it is only about a 15 minute walk along the beach to longset pier and also the hostel will arrange transport for you if you need it.
We rented mopeds for a full day, 10USD for the day and this included a full tank of fuel.
The room was clean and tidy, although it was not cleaned during our stay we did get fresh towels and toilet roll each day.
It is very evident that the hostel is still under development, however it is still a nice place to stay.
It is about a 10 minute walk to Nest Hostel, where Nestival is held, so a great option to stay here if heading to nestival.
We did not eat here during our stay, but we did spend time in the common area and played some pool.
The bed was comfortable.
The only real let down was the poor WiFi in the room, other than that we couldn’t complain, especially for the price as Koh Rong is definitely more expensive than other places in Cambodia.

Pablo is amazing! We stayed in the newer bungalows and they were fantastic :) he was super accommodating and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place as it’s a shorter walk to nest and away from the noise in evenings. The dorms also look comfortable and there is a pool table and hammocks in the common area to chill. Thanks for everything pablo ! (Cutest puppy there too)
Absolutely brilliant hostel in a brilliant location - literally 2 mins to the beach and about 5 from Nest so perfect if you’re wanting to go to Nestival without staying there. Pablo the owner is a legend and sorted us a couple bikes and is generally really nice so yeah stay here you won’t be disappointed :) the ferry drops you at long set beach and you can walk along the beach until you get to white pearl beach restaurant then turn right walk through a jungle path and you’re there 👍
We love Tee and Pablo, nicest owners very chill about a 5 min walk down to white pearl beach, comfy beds and spacious room. Also so close to Nest beach club where nestival is held!
Pablo was a gent and was able to sort us out with everything we needed. We kept extending our stay here too and he was very accommodating. Super close to the beach and you can rent a scooter from him too to explore the island a bit.
