Good to know
Breakfast is included in the rate and is served à la carte, cooked to order. Laundry is available on site for an additional charge. Rooms are spread across several floors of the building, so it is worth confirming any floor preference when you book. The swimming pool is on floor 14.
The hotel is really lovely. The rooms are beautifully designed with comfortable beds, and the bathroom had two sinks and a large shower. The balcony is a nice addition too.
I really liked the rooftop pool to escape the heat, and the views over the city.
The included breakfast was really amazing and had a good range of food options and drinks, all freshly cooked to order.
The staff are very kind and helpful, and they can offer a paid laundry service as well.
It's in quite a good location as well not far from attractions by tuk tuk/car. The hotel was very quiet while I was there so maybe there are not a lot of tourists in the city at the moment.
This is a safe, family-type, pretty, clean place for solo females. The staff are helpful and kind. The building is both very large and also intimate, like a home. The front door is hard to see in the dark, but if they know you are coming, they will come out and get you. At least they did me. My room is a canopy King bed, with a lovely city view. I am a nurse and so am very picky about cleanliness, and they pass the test. The beds have sanitary barriers, the linen is spotless and cotton. The pool is clean. The food from the kitchen did not cause any digestive issues. This is not a corporate experience, and I find that is a good thing. There is no gym on property, but so many choices a quick walk or ride close by. Also no laundry on site, but excellent choices close by. I will stay here again. There's a little grocery across the street, beauty treatments and massages within walking distance, all sorts of amazing food everywhere, and if you need one, a Starbucks is about 1000 ft down the road.
Roof top swimming pool attracted me at first when searching online. I arrived by bicycle from Vietnam, dusty, tired and ready to sleep at midday! The staff were so helpful and I entered my room with the WOW effect effect and I am not easily ‘ wowed”.
The decor with amazing Cambodian cultural taste ( yes, it is subjective ), then the huge bathroom with an excellent shower and beautiful, linen bathrobes , neatly ironed. A firm bed and finally a ninth floor view .
The swimming pool had to wait until after my siesta. I had a swim, lay back on the lounger milked the view and thought, I have hit the jackpot here.
I am reluctant to eat in hotel restaurants but sneakily observed the packed restaurant and watched plates being served, before I decided to reserve a table.
Breakfast was included in my room rate, which was a bit confusing as they offered an extensive “ a la carte “ menu . All the food was absolutely, freshly made, particularly the blueberry pancakes. Photos attached.
On the downside the automatic espresso coffee machine was shockingly bad. Apologies as I am coffee nerd. As I enjoyed my stay so much I seriously thought of buying them a proper espresso machine😅
Overall we had a good stay. The room was nicely decorated and felt comfortable, and the rooftop pool was a real highlight with great views. Breakfast was served à la carte and was very good each morning.
However, there were a few issues that held the experience back slightly. The shower didn’t drain properly and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. We also noticed a lack of drinking water being provided. At breakfast there didn’t appear to be any available, and unlike several other hotels we’ve stayed in, no complimentary drinking water was offered daily.
The staff were generally helpful, but communication could sometimes be difficult. We also had an issue with the laundry service. We were told our laundry would be ready by the evening, but it wasn’t returned until the following afternoon. We later learned the hotel sends laundry to a local laundrette, yet we were still charged the express rate of $2 per kg despite it not being completed the same day.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a comfortable room and excellent rooftop pool, but the service and some of the finer details still need improvement.
We stayed in the family room. It was fun, comfortable and plenty spacious. Bathroom was modern and large. The walk-in shower had great flow, temperature and pressure - very refreshing after a lot of city exploring. The balcony was spacious and lush with well kept planters and vegetation - morning and evening breeze was fresh and reviving. This is a taller hotel - upper rooms have minimal street noise.
The staff was great - friendly informative and accommodating.
Restaurant was good - traditional Khmer foods. Good smoothies and drinks.
