A good cafe with good service and reasonable price.

Coffee was good but hot latte only comes in a small cup the same as at Amazon cafe Starbucks has a large . Free WiFi, Toilets , modern interior ' has snacks and ice creams. Nice place to sit and relax , Air conditioned.

The barista was not friendly and did not even greet customers. The drinks were acceptable; however, the water was overpriced at 2,500 riel per small bottle.

Most convenient place to get good coffee in Kampong Cham. 😉

Friendly service, reasonable prices unlike Starbucks. New burger place is ok, fries are good value but the rest is on the small and expensive side.

It's good to drive around and see but not much thing

Although nothing stands out in this market, you should give it a visit if you have time. The atmosphere is different than those in Phnom Penh. The vendors may not be speak english (but that doesn't matter); good place to practice conversational Khmer. Lots of street can be found in the market, some vendors open a bit later. If you're a Muslim, theres a few stores here that sells halal food operated by ethnic Cham muslims (official halal certification body does not exist in Cambodia; except imported food brand from Thailand/Malaysia). There a stall that sells fried grasshoppers which was delicious. The rest of the stalls in the markets sells fresh meats,clothing, household items. Recommended to visit in the morning/late morning.

Lots of stalls, they might sell double the price if you are foreigner, even when you are buying food at the stalls. Environment is not clean, but you get to explore local foods and goods.

A perfect place with perfect choice of all kinds of goods, esp. vegetables and fruits all natural and fresh from the rural farms of this province and other northeastern parts of tje country. Nice view of tje Mekong river and bridge nearby. Friendly local vendors with good selling attitude. The market and the city itself is more like or even better than Phnom Penh city as you could find a lot more things here.

Excellent food, rich in flavor and very generous portions—the Fish Amok was definitely a highlight! The service is top-notch, handled by a very friendly and welcoming team. The prices are very fair for such high quality. A must-visit in Kampong Cham!

This year, unfortunately, I am unable to give a 5-star rating. The overall service did not meet expectations. The staff worked quite slowly, and communication was not always easy or clear. There were delays with guest bill payments, and the tables and chairs were not properly cleaned. It seemed that attention to service and detail was lacking during our visit. I hope the management can take this feedback seriously and improve the service standards in the future.

The Smile Restaurant in Kampong Cham is absolutely worth a visit. I had a chef’s salad that was so good I immediately ordered another salad, even though I didn’t know its name. Both were fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. I also enjoyed a glass of Merlot and an espresso, which were fantastic as well. Overall, a wonderful experience: delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended

We ended up eating here lunch and dinner during our 3 night stay in a nearby hotel as we couldn't find anywhere else doing alcohol other than beer outside of the big hotels. Gin and tonic both on the menu but they did not have tonic even though it is sold in nearby shops. Opted for Sprite instead. Red wine was fine. Service was mixed and perversly was better when they were busy. When quiet it was difficult to get attention. The menus need replacing, dirty and some with pages missing. However the food was generally very good. Highlights were chilli and basil rice with pork, nasi goreng, aubergine and pork and watermelon salad. Espresso was delicious. Cards are not accepted and there is a 10% surcharge. We paid 13 dollars at lunch and 22 dollars for dinner. Good but with a few changes would definitely be a 5 star place.

At first we really liked this restaurant, we came every day for three days and mostly the food was great. The service friendly and smiling, excellent amok. But sadly, on our last night, Saturday 10 January, tonight we went there and the food was bad. Fried noodles not fresh, they used instant noodles instead - would have expected better. also the fried spring rolls were almost inedible. The service was not very friendly either and we got a cracked glass which we had to ask to change. Even rice not cooked so well. Must be different staff on a Saturday. It felt like a completely different restaurant. The food just wasn't the same and really wasn't worth the price.Such a shame, we were really disappointed and probably won't go again. So I think, it's hit and miss, depends on the cook...

I truly relish my breakfast when I am in Kampong Cham. In fact, it has a delightful flavor and is quite distinctive. The combination of rice with pork pairs excellently with fermented cucumber and chili sauce. The food and beverages are reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

Park on the roadside. The service was quite fast. It was delicious for breakfast at such an affordable price. There are only a few tables, and you may need to share yours with the other customers, but that should not be a problem as the seat arrangement were spacious.

A market in Kampong Cham City center. You can find almost everything you need from staple goods and modern appliances. There, you can also find fresh vegetables and fruits.

Is a very local market where you can find fresh food and meat. The water closet is clean and people are too help full and kind

The view from the top of the lighthouse is beautiful. You have to climb 4 flights of ladder-like stairs to get there. (The pictures attached was taken during a big flood so all the streets were covered with water in the village.)

If this is supposed to be a tourist attraction it is in poor condition. Ok that it is free but hey. Soo dirry. It is all open, so lots of birds and pigeons living there. Birds poo everywhere. I admit I was not brave enough to go on top since the steps are very high and steep. And i have vertigo. The building is completely empty.

Monday 15 June: French Watch Tower I primarily walked across the Kizuna Bridge to see the French Watch Tower. According to Wander Lush: “Built in the 1920s by Kampong Cham’s colonial rulers, the watchtower served as a protection mechanism for the profitable rubber plantations around town. If bandits were approaching on the Mekong, a fire would be lit in the tower to warn the Governor, who had a direct line of sight to the tower from his house. The tower’s external plasterwork and vertiginous internal staircase (it’s more like a set of ladders) was restored in 2005.” Nope... I didn’t climb the ladders.....

It's an old tower but still charming. If you are not afraid from the stairs you can enjoy a great view from the top. Just be careful.

Phnom Srey, or the "Female's Mountain," was an enchanting experience. The picturesque views were awe-inspiring, offering a glimpse into Cambodia's rich history through vintage paintings adorning the ancient temples. The locals added warmth to the visit with their kind and friendly demeanor, making the journey even more memorable.

Beautiful road trip we riding motorcycles from Phnom Penh to kompongcham but have so much fun! The road is good! The food and drink is great and the price is not expensive at all! This place is a great place and great history because the story about women and man bet on who make it higher if you have sometime go check it out!

Phnom Srei (girl's mountain) is definitely higher than Phnom Pros (boy's mountain). Sadly, it has less attraction than the boy's one. The accessible road is also difficult to find n easily missed as one has to ask for help from the locals as there's no sign board or whatsoever.

It is FREE to enter but there was someone outside trying to make us pay, $2.5 for Phnom Srei or $10 for a multi-entry ticket to other places - it’s a scam!!! Just walk past him. We were unsure whether he was telling the truth when he first said you have to pay to enter as we had read previously online that it was free so we argued with him for 5 mins. I got my phone and researched, explained that on the Cambodian tourist website it says it’s free. I added that we can donate once we’re up there but it’s not compulsory to pay for a ‘ticket’. He went quiet after that and we made our way up the stairs to Phnom Srei. When we came back down, he was no longer there. Don’t let yourself get lured into this trap, just ignore him and start climbing the steps.
