We spent 4 nights here and we liked it a lot. The hotel is a quiet old and captivating buildingn with spacious, bright and clean enough rooms. But what we liked the most it was the balcony where you can chill and relaxing looking at the simple and slow life of Kratie and in the evening you'll get a nice breez. Also the owner is Very gentle and helpful

Before booking, I checked the reviews on Google Maps and their page, and I also saw that the place was recognized by the ministry. However, based on my real experience staying there for one night, it was not very good. The room was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. I even had to request the owner to spray more fragrance. I booked a room with two beds, but one of the blankets looked quite dark color, which made me feel uncomfortable using it. But the bathroom was clean, and I got a discounted price of only $12.50 per night. I hope the owner can improve the room’s smell and overall cleanliness in the future.

We can highly recommend the Hotel. The owner and His Family were really nice, the room was as described. You can get Coffee and local breakfast at the Restaurant below. We Had the soup for breakfast which was nice and affordable. You should Bring a sleepingmask If you can only sleep in the dark as there are Ventilation cutouts in the wall and its pretty bright at night and in the morning.

Really lovely hotel, rooms are spacious and clean, staff are friendly, there's a restaurant and they'll do your laundry too. View was nice from the balcony (could so with some chairs out there however). Think he may also rent bikes however we only stayed a short amount of time.

Great stay in Kratie, the rooms are clean, nice. The balcony was nice. If you have a spare day go to the island on the other side of the mekong. You can swim with a hut to relax just where the ferry crosses or bike around the island. The bicycle you can get at the guesthouse for free.
