So, this place is basically two separated locations. One runned by Ken, and other, where we stayed, runned by Paul. Tuk tuk pick up is free, the drop off you pay. Overall, we left the place with the bitter taste, learning that bus tickets that Paul got for us were not with real price-we paid him per person 8 dollars, for tickets that cost 4-5 dollars. It's just not the good feeling... Anyhow, we decided to stay here because of reading the reviews and everybody was so inloved with Ken. We were not in that situation, didn't meet her, had Paul who had availability issue at guesthouse due to his official work in a hotel as manager. We had the restaurant at the place, but the choices are noodles and noodles... Small Beer can with 333ml they charge 1,5 and if you react, then you have a "better" price of 1 dollar - just doesn't feel professional. Tuk tuk we paid in total 85 dollars for four days (first day, small temple tour 15, second day, big tour 35 dollars, third day floathing village 20 - we finished the tour around 13:00 so the half day tour basicaly, the fourth day, 15 dollars and again finished at 13:00. Basically we were giving the driver ideas where to take us on that day because he Paul didn't share with him our plan and tour info. No hot water in the bathroom. So, to be honest not everything was bad. The rooms are big and they clean them every day. Breakfast was also ok, continental. The 9.2 review is for Kens place, not for this. So for the budget travelers, it is ok op
I am not sure what to write about this hotel - the bedroom is large but the sheets are dirty with stains on them. The bathroom is like a prison cell bathroom and the hostess at the property is quite money orientated. However, the man that collected us from the airport and provided us tuk-tuk transport at a small fee was very sweet and helpful. He organised a friend to take us around Siem Reap Temples which was spectacular. The whole hotel cost was very cheap and perfect for our backpacking purpose but I would not stay here again or for any other purpose. The bathroom and bed sheets were not clean and for me that is a deal breaker.
Amazing staff, quiet and nice place to stay. They offer free airport shuttle (tuktuk). We had to leave early (for sunrise at Angkor Wat) and they packed breakfast for us.
