I visited my friend who is staying at the Botum Domrey Hotel. The room is clean and the furnishings quite new. Reception attendants are also friendly and helpful. The only issue is parking spaces are limited so when you visit guest like I do, you will have to park along the street.

Found this place on my recent Visa Run from Vietnam. I spent 5 of my 6 nights there and can't speak highly enough of the value for money it is. The rooms were spotless and quiet and the reception staff were cheery and efficient. Located quite close to the Royal Palace and a number of eateries, it's the perfect place to experience Phnom Penh.

Overall, the environment and cleanliness of the hotel are acceptable. However, two incidents during my stay significantly damaged my impression of this place and left me feeling genuinely disappointed. First, the front desk showed a very careless and indifferent attitude toward a guest’s request. I stayed on the first floor for the first two nights and later moved to a room on the third floor. After changing rooms, I realized that I had accidentally left my power bank in the original room. I asked the front desk to kindly check with the housekeeping staff, but they did not verify anything and immediately responded with “no.” This kind of dismissive reply, without any proper confirmation, made me feel that guests’ concerns are not taken seriously at all. The power bank itself is not valuable, but honesty and responsibility from staff are fundamental to the quality of a hotel’s service. Second, there was a clear lack of respect for guest privacy. When I requested bottled water to be delivered to my room, I opened the door and intended to receive it at the doorway. During those few seconds, the staff member noticeably looked into my room in a deliberate manner. This behavior felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, giving me the impression that my privacy was being intrusively observed. Great hotel. Fantastic service with great staff..Beautifull rooftoop pool with stunning views. Definatley be back.
