The hotel has a stylish, modern design and feels relatively new. The rooms are spacious and offer a great sense of openness. The air conditioning works very well and is easy to adjust. There is a long desk that provides plenty of workspace, making it convenient for both work and personal use. The Wi-Fi works well in the guest rooms, and I was even able to use it without a VPN. There are also plenty of conveniently located power outlets. A 24-hour supermarket is located less than a one-minute walk from the hotel, which is extremely convenient. Every member of the hotel staff was kind, professional, and attentive. On the downside, the mattress is not of premium quality and is a little too soft for my preference. The bed linens also did not feel particularly luxurious. Although this area has many mosquitoes, the room does not have window screens or mosquito repellents, which would have been appreciated. Some of the furniture and the bathtub are made from inexpensive-looking materials. While Netflix and YouTube are available on the TV, it was disappointing that regular television channels were not available. It would also be even better if the Wi-Fi were available around the swimming pool, at the front desk, and in the breakfast area.

Oasis like Hotel in the heart of the city. Centrally located in BKK1 with lots of decent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Convenience store (Aeon MaxValu with pink sign) that sells water, food, and all the essentials, is literally downstairs to the right of the building when you are walking out. You could also get water from the water dispenser in the gym. Rooms come with a Samsung Air Dresser, which de-wrinkle your clothes. You could also use it to sanitize or dry your clothes. The longest time setting is just under 2 hours, which you could set it overnight or prior to going out for the day. Rooms facing the pool without the city view are quieter, but if you don’t mind the noise, then you can pick the city view. Hallways are of concrete, so sounds can be more noticeable when it’s quiet such as early in the morning. If you’re up early by 7 am or so, that shouldn’t be an issue, otherwise, house cleaning and people leaving their rooms to check out could cause sounds to be more noticeable than hallways that are carpeted. Breakfast is excellent with a decent variety of western and local selections. Highly recommended if you can get a deal as they charge $15 if you were to get it at the hotel. Staff are professional, friendly, and hardworking and always smiling. So, tipping is highly encouraged. May you have a pleasant stay at Baitong!

We have been to this hotel many times since it opened, and we always love it. All the staff is amazing and this time they all deserve a special mention for being so patient with our 7 months old boy Casper making a mess at breakfast😆🥲😇 the breakfast buffet is def worth checking out, but also the rooftop bar and the cafe downstairs provide great selection of food and yummy drinks. The SPA masseuses are highly skilled and the gym is small but well equipped. We love all three pools. We have tried different hotels in PP and this is my far the best one in this price range. Again, the staff is amazing from receptjon to buffet to door men . And OMG this time we had the most gigantic bed ever existed, perfect for co sleeping😬

Bed bug suspected in R502 🥲 I stayed here for 3 nights for a conference in an other hotel. I arrived at almost midnight and right after the first night I felt itchy everywhere. I am too lazy to check the bed and did not request room cleaning, but the itchiness continue to come and go for the rest of my stay. Breakfast ends at 10:30 am and food quality is OK. I have not tried the hot food as I don't like egg noodles and scramble eggs. The room facitities and equipment is OK, the staff is friendly and supportive as well. They also provided free massage ticket and restaurant discount cupon

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Currently staying at Baitong Hotel & Resort in BKK1 and it’s been a great experience so far. The location is perfect, right in the center of Phnom Penh, with everything nearby. The hotel is newly built, very clean, and beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail. We stayed in the Steam Jacuzzi Room (around $100–$110) and it is absolutely worth it. You get a private outdoor area with a glass steam room, jacuzzi, and a shaded plunge pool that stays naturally cool - perfect in the Phnom Penh heat. Having all of this privately connected to the room is a huge plus and makes the stay feel much more premium. The forest-style pool is also excellent, and having multiple pool areas gives you options to relax throughout the day. Staff have been consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. Housekeeping is quick, towels are refreshed often, and the whole property is very well maintained. Breakfast is generous with both buffet and à la carte options, including an egg station. Great start to the day. Overall, this hotel offers very good value for money, especially considering the location, design, and facilities. We actually extended our stay, which says everything. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-designed hotel in BKK1 Phnom Penh.

Cafés & bakeries 46.5 km 4.5/5 on Google

EE-cafe is 46.5 km west of Baitong Hotel & Resort — a short ride rather than a walk.

This countryside café in Kirirom offers coffee in a spacious, clean setting. Visitors find it a peaceful spot with functioning facilities, though it serves drinks rather than food. The atmosphere appeals to those seeking a quiet break in a rural location.

Guests consistently highlight the coffee quality and reasonable prices, along with the cleanliness of the space and toilets. Several mention the peacefulness of the setting. One visitor noted the limitation that food is not served here, only beverages, which is worth knowing if you plan a longer stop. The overall feedback suggests a straightforward, functional café rather than a destination venue.

The café suits travellers passing through Kirirom who want a coffee break without fanfare, or anyone seeking a calm spot away from busier areas. Go expecting coffee and a quiet atmosphere, not a meal or elaborate service. The rural location means it works best as a planned stop rather than a casual drop-in.
