I highly recommend Angkor Piseth Homestay as a solo female traveler. It is a bit out of the main part of town, so if you like it less busy, this is a great spot and closer to the temples. It’s down a road a bit, but didn’t feel unsafe to me. They were there to greet me at the airport when I arrived (a paid service ). My room was very large, clean and inexpensive. The breakfast area was nice, open with plants and the food was pretty good and a great price (most dishes $3). They were very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp for requests and ordering food. From the homestay, I easily rode a bike I rented there on the bike path to Angkor Wat. Also it was easy to order a grab there. The family was so kind and lined up laundry, as well as bicycle and scooter rentals. They let me hang out late on the night I had a sleeper bus, which was super kind. The whole family is around and contributing (with little kiddos too!). The woman who made food and fulfilled requests was lovely: I’m so glad I stayed!
