Douceurs de Kampot is a French-owned cafe on Street 724 in Kampot serving baked goods, pastries, quiches, and a wide range of hot and cold drinks. The display cases hold a rotating selection of cakes including carrot cake, tiramisu, lemon cheesecake, lemon meringue tart, and black forest cake, alongside savoury items like baguettes and panini. The interior is air-conditioned and decorated in a homely style. The drinks menu covers coffee, tea, bubble tea, and milk tea, with soy milk available for vegan customers.
Visitors consistently praise the quality of the baked goods and fresh ingredients, particularly the baguettes, quiches, and cakes. The coffee and tea receive strong marks. Staff are noted as friendly and attentive, willing to adjust orders and accommodate requests. Some guests mention that prices are reasonable. A loyalty programme offers a keychain after multiple drink purchases. With over 180 reviews, the cafe has built a reputation as a reliable stop for lunch or an afternoon snack, though it draws enough traffic that queues are possible during peak times.
The cafe operates daily from 8 AM to 9 PM, making it accessible for breakfast, lunch, or an evening dessert. It works well for travellers seeking familiar French-style pastries, a comfortable air-conditioned space, or vegetarian and vegan options. It sits near other cafes on the same street, so it is easy to find and part of the local cafe cluster.

A fantastic lunch experience! The baguette here is outstanding — perfectly crispy on the outside with a wonderful, fresh crunch, while the filling is savory, delicious, and ideally balanced in saltiness. The salad is beyond praise. Every ingredient, from the crisp greens to the tomatoes, tastes incredibly fresh and vibrant. A beautiful, well-crafted meal with great ingredients. Highly recommend stopping by for a bite!

I had the milk tea and the tiramisu. Both were great. Nice place with friendly staff. All the food looked very yummy.

Attracted by the colourful exterior, and then by the beautiful display of cakes and pasteries, we had an early lunch easily tempted by the Quiche I had spotted in the window display. The drinks menu is extensive and everything there is reasonably priced. The coffee, bubble tea, Panini and Quiche, were oredered, were everything we had hoped for. The young attentive staff were keen to provide any addition or alteration to the menu, and were very keen to provide a wonderful eating experience.
The inside of the Cafe, was homely and cutely decorated, and with air conditioned tables its an easy venue for extended meals.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Tucked just down the street from M.H. Restaurant and next to Ellipse Coffee, Douceurs de Kampot is a French-owned cozy dessert and snack haven that offers an impressive array of sweets and savory bites, paired with a robust coffee and tea menu. The dessert lineup is an endless list that contains items like carrot cake, tiramisu cake, lemon cheesecake, vanilla strawberry, lemon meringue tart, passion mousse, upside-down pineapple cake, cookies, chocolate brownies, peach cake, and black forest cake. My heart belongs to their carrot cake, discovered via a Google search and now the reason I keep returning. It’s dense, bursting with carrot flavor, and perfectly balanced with a thin layer of frosting that complements rather than overwhelms the cake. It’s not overly sweet, making it a standout.
For savory options, they serve breakfast and lunch items like baguette sandwiches, panini, toasties
