Absolutely wonderful cafe on the river! It was raining and the power was down but they happily made me a drip coffee and it was delicious! Affordable price and wonderful atmosphere. I could work on my laptop given the wifi was strong! Nice indoor paintings. Loved the Gecko theme!

I had a wonderful time at The Gecko. The food was authentic, fresh, and delicious. I tried the sushi platter, the udon soup, salmon salad and the tuna bowl. Everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable. The owner was very friendly and attentive. He greeted me with a smile and explained the menu items to me. He also gave me some recommendations on what to order. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The restaurant was decorated with many hand crafted bracelets and accessories paintings. I love the loft style design and dining at the top. I highly recommend The Gecko to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. It is one of the best restaurants in Battambang and a must-visit for travelers. I will definitely come back again when I'm in town.

I stopped here as I urgently needed coolant for my moped. One of the staff called his brother to come and help me. Went back later for lunch and the did not disappoint. Teriyaki burger was very good. Fries were nice and crunchy. The dressing for the salad was super interesting. Loads of nice quality souviners. Lovely spot to chill at in Battambang if you have spare time. Thank you so much 💯💯🦎🦎🦎

Such a hidden gem! You CANNOT miss Gecko when you’re in BTB. The Japanese owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, adding to the charm of this spot. Their food is fantastic - fresh, unique, and truly special. Beyond the food, their souvenirs and other items are definitely worth checking out. It’s a bit further from downtown, but it has everything you could want in a café. And I saved the best for last - I got my cheesecake fix and even took some home because it was that good. Plus, I couldn’t resist picking up a few antique pieces!

Very good atmosphere. The restaurant’s design is very pretty. I had Japanese food,adon . The soup is delicious.
