This island is a haven designed for rest and disconnection. As a paradisiacal destination, it prioritizes relaxation and unwinding. The hotel features a stylish yet rustic decor, complemented by an exceptional staff who provide outstanding service and take great care of their guests, offering incredible hospitality and tranquility. The rooms are spacious, airy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
The restaurant is a highlight, with the chef preparing delicious meals, including what is arguably the best Tom Yum in Asia. Perched on a hill, the hotel provides personalized assistance for guests with heavy luggage. When I arrived with a large suitcase, the staff kindly carried it up to my room. From the moment I stepped off the pier, I was warmly welcomed, and my bulky luggage was handled seamlessly without any effort on my part.
The hilltop location is no obstacle, as guests can request transportation up or down whenever needed. However, if you’re in the mood for a bit of activity, the walk is pleasant and rewarding.
The hotel’s facilities are full of charm, and it boasts the best vantage point to watch the sunset. In fact, it’s so stunning that guests from other hotels often come here just to enjoy the view.
ThmorDa Resort is stunning! It’s located up the hill with amazing views over the water and for sunset.
The staff are wonderful - polite, friendly and super helpful. Whatever you need, they’ll fix it.
My bungalow was also gorgeous. Clean, spacious and with views over the water. I will definitely stay here again.
Nice location! Good spot for sunset and snorkeling. The rooms are brand new and you get a super nice view if you choose the villas. Staff is super friendly, helped us book a boat trip and also made their best to have a wonderful stay. Also, they have a nice restaurant where you can enjoy a cold drink. I believe this is the best spot to stay on M’pay Bay if you are not looking for the backpacking experience.
We had for 3 nights the waterfront bungalow with amazing cliff and seaview and beautiful sunset every night just from our terrace. Spacious room with beautiful bathroom. Good matras on bed, not so hard as normally expected in Asia. Staff and manager are very nice as expected in Cambodia but speak bad English and create unclarity which after a short discussion will be solved. Try their food wat was all very tasty from a beautiful restaurant and seaview.
It is a large resort with different complexes and rooms in a large and beautiful garden situated at the end of a very steep and bad road. Hard 30min walk with lugguge is not doable. Despite that we asked them several times for pick up from the pier they didnot. After our complain they created pick up for every customer.
We booked with breakfast in advance and we where surprised to get just one dish and one coffee. When we asked for fresh fruit and extra cofffee what is very normal in whole Asia they ask for extra charge. We where disappointed despite renting their must expensive bungalow.
