If you're planning to enjoy the wildlife in this region, I would definitely recommend staying here. These very friendly and hospitable people have beautiful, spacious, and clean cottages with a stunning view. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the cool pool, the sunset views, and don't forget a home-cooked local meal every evening with vegetables from their own garden. Highly recommended!
An amazing resort in the village. The entire resort is simply one big, breathtaking nature, the sunsets here are amazing in their beauty and a sense of peace and tranquility surrounds the place. The location outside the town was actually a big advantage because it helped the experience of the landscape to be more powerful, along with the fact that Alex helped me schedule a jungle trek, a tuktuk driver and a trip to the elephant project and you can even eat breakfast and dinner here. The warm welcome of his family and the enjoyment of this accommodation made me extend my stay here.
The rooms are huge, there is plenty of space to put your belongings, there is a stand for your suitcase, 2 sinks in the bathroom and hot water in the shower. The family went above and beyond and brought me an extra blanket without me even asking because it was chilly.
The only drawback is that the lighting in the room is insufficient, so when the sun goes down the room is a bit dark, but this was negligible problem.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will definitely come back here again.
Amazing, wonderful small resort. View is beautiful, great location, about 10 minutes from town, but out in nature. Beautiful pool. The owner and family are lovely and the best food ever.
Wonderful stop at Sumeru place. We could enjoy the delicious homemade dishes cooked with fresh vegetables. We were warmly welcome by our hosts with whom we felt very at ease. The place is wonderful and well located to visit the jungle :).
A nice place to stay. Very quiet and with an excellent view of the mondulkiri landscape (especially watching the sunrise). It’s run by a Frenchman who was extremely friendly and helpful.
One small complaint, the breakfast was a little basic. Bread, butter and Jam with Tea or Coffee for $3 USD (aka 12k riel) or add eggs for $1 USD. However, it was still delicious, I enjoyed the three different jams and the homemade bread. There was a premium feel to it, however, I also was expecting the breakfast to be a little bigger to fill me up. I would happily eat another slice or two of his homemade bread.
I don’t know if they did lunch or dinner options.
However, this does not decrease the quality of the stay. As the breakfast was still delicious.
Would stay again just for the quietness and tranquil setting.
