Beautiful peaceful stay. Staff were very friendly and really helpful when we had troubles with a ferry booking. We tried lots of restaurants along the beach and Sol restaurant served some of the freshest and nicest meals on the island. Breakfast had a good range of options the bay sach moan was delicious I had it 3 mornings in a row. Would 100% come back to Sol Beach!
Fair location as it is not near the port. You have to walk, or transfer boat or local truck. Room is medium as its lock mostly broken, family room design is not quite convenience.
Restaurant service super slow and not well. Slow, and not varios choices.
Just it near the beach, single room is stunning facing the sea bed. Reall enjoy from the morning, day and sunset view.
D.Cookiemaw go to Sol Beach resort for food. It look fancy. But me feel like me in a bubble-tent! They put up big plastic walls to stop the wind and the sun. Why? Me at the beach! Me want to see the blue water! Me want to feel the sand! But no... me sit in big room with many empty tables. No tables by the sea. Boring!
Me try lunch and dinner. Me drink beer, it cold, so me no complain there.
The food look pretty. The chicken strips and fish strips are hand-made, yes-yes. They have gold-crust and sit on the plate like little trophies. But then me take a bite... and... nothing. No 'POW!' No 'ZAP!' It taste like 'hotel food.' It safe. It shy. It have no soul!
The fries are thin. D.Cookiemaw prefer thick potato-logs that me can grip! These are too skinny for orc fingers.
And the price? Oohhh... me wallet groan. Many shiny coins for small-size plates. On this island, me find better loot for less gold. It feel like they spend all the magic on the look, but forget to put the joy in the belly.
D.Cookiemaw stay full, but me heart stay empty.
D.Cookiemaw Decree: Go for the cold beer, but no expect a victory for the tongue. It a place for sleepy humies, not for hungry peons!
Our stay at this beach resort was great and I can only highly recommend it. We were two people and stayed for five nights in the two-floor Tree House Villa, which is designed for up to four guests. The villa was clean and the bathroom big. Fresh water bottles were provided daily. The view and overall amenities left nothing to be desired. A small foot shower at the stairs leading up to the villa was a thoughtful touch.
The restaurant served good food with enough variety of options. Perhaps one or two more vegetarian options would be nice. The Breakfast was included and the selection was more than enough for us. You can borrow all kinds of equipment for free from SUP boards to snorkeling gear and more.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helped carry our luggage to and from the pier. The beach was cleaned regularly with great care, which made a huge difference. A special shout-out to the spa team as well.
Of all the resorts I saw on the island, this one looked by far the best. It’s the perfect place for couples who want to spend several relaxing days on a small island without sacrificing comfort.
Absolutely beautiful beach resort. Ours was an upper treehouse stay and not only that but we had great service and the food was amazing. Highly recommend but would have been nice to have a pool, too.
