A secluded property by the river, Sambor Village is arranged in a series of bungalows in a garden. They are simply furnished but spacious and comfortable. Initially, the hot water in the shower (there was none in the basin) was idiosyncratic, but the problem was resolved on our second night. Breakfast was good, and dinner was excellent. The hotel staff were lovely, arranging tours and transport as needed.
What a gorgeous stay! This place really is an oasis, and just a short walk from the heart of Kampong Thom. Immediately upon arriving I felt so relaxed in this peaceful setting. This was in no small part due to the wonderful team - who gave us such a friendly welcome and were so helpful during our stay. Also really appreciated the commitment to sustainability.
We stayed there for two nights to visit Sambor Prei Kuk. The manager was very nice and helpful with everything. The bungalows and the pool are very nice. There were mosquito nets in our room and air conditioning.
There is currently construction ongoing assesson the riverside area, so I assume the area outside of the hotel will nice when this is done .
I love this hotel. I run motorcycle tours that pass through the town and always put my guests here. It’s by far the best place in town. Beautiful hotel and as is normal in Cambodia the nicest friendliest staff you can imagine. I always look forward to staying here.
