We had an excellent family stay at Sabay Beach in Kampot.
The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing environment, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the area. What truly made our stay special, however, was the outstanding quality of the service and the kindness of the staff.
Every member of the team was welcoming, friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The staff showed great professionalism while remaining warm and genuinely caring. Every request was handled efficiently, with kindness and always with a smile.
We felt very well looked after throughout our stay. This exceptional level of service really makes a difference and contributes greatly to the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel.
A big thank you to the entire Sabay Beach team for their hospitality, dedication and thoughtful attention to our family. We will keep very fond memories of our stay in Kampot and highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at Sabay for 9 nights, 1st 6N in a wonderful 3 storey treehouse. An amazing experience, living amongst the treetops with the bedroom at the top with a bathroom attached. Spacious and bucolic rain shower bathroom on the 1st floor. Airy daybed on the 2nd floor. Spent a lot of time with nature, watching the squirrels, dogs, cats, huge geckos, the locals call it Tokay. Magnificent creatures. 3rd storey vantage point. Mango, Durians Burmese Grape, Coconut trees, fruiting in abundance.
Stayed in the Riverfront Room for the last 3 nights. Double storey. Wonderful and tranquil views for sunrise and sunsets with Phnom Bokor in the background. Plenty of Bamboo, Sea Hibiscus, Frangipani around me. Have a private deck with daybeds with direct access to river. Pleasant to swim.
Sabay Team are outstanding - always with a smile and happy to assist. Staff are well-trained and communication is easy.
The restaurant and bar - great menu options. Dined well and again, beautiful views with attentive service.
Great yoga spot. Day tours highly recommended. Kayaking on the river for free. Green Cathedral is a short distance away. Tuks to Town is only 15mins away, lovely countryside and river views. Nibi Spa and Bantaey Srey Spa in close proximity.
Highly recommend. I would stay again.
Downside: Wifi and data network can be a little spotty, Grab and Passapp aren’t very reliable, sometimes no drivers, so I hail by the street.

My wife and I came here for 4 nights. We live and work at Rainbow Lodge in Tatai. It was great to find a place with a similar ethos to ours, caring for the environment and local community.
It has a beautiful riverside location, and is far enough from town to feel really secluded, but close enough to pop in by tuk tuk. They also have scooter hire but we didn't use that.
We stayed in one of the premiun tree houses. They are split over 3 storeys. The bedroom is at the top and the beautiful bathroom on the ground floor. For convenience, there is a separate toilet next to the bedroom. The tree houses are nestled among mature fruit trees, and there is a chance to see birds and small mammals.
Above all, the staff are great! They are very friendly, polite and helpful.

Fantastic stay at Sabay Beach! The staff are lovely, the beach is well equipped with everything you could need, the rooms are great, and the food is excellent. We have absolutely no complaints and had a wonderful time.

My stay at Sabay Beach resort was very memorable and I highly recommend this place.
The location by the river although a bit far from the city Centre (7km) is ideal for dipping in the water, kayaking (free of charge), enjoying a drink or two, and watching the amazing sunsets.
The staff are super friendly and always available to help with anything. Right from the very first day they address you by your name. The rooms are large, airy, and nicely decorated. I wish I could have stayed at one of the treehouses though. They assist with motorbike rentals, and provide services such as laundry and more. Great memories ❤️
