A horrible experience, the worst hotel stay of my life. It was not a functional hotel - no guests, no staff, except for a small boy, about 10-years old, that spoke no english. It was a ghost town, seemed like the place had been abandoned for months or years - weeds overgrown everywhere, nothing functional. Our room had rotting fruit in the garbage can and swarms of ants everywhere that got into our luggage. We had to contact the host by text message and wait for her replies. We moved to another room which was infested with ants within a few hours. Our host said there would be staff arriving that evening and that food and drinks would be available for us the following day. All of this was untrue. We contacted her yet again - no apology - just told us that we can order food from town on a ride-sharing app. Our stay here was a scam. Unfortunately our booking was non-refundable. We have filed official complaints with airbnb, as we don't want others to have the same experience. We spent hours killing thousands of ants, had them crawling on us in bed - just a horrifying experience. We had to book a new place and leave. Beware - do not come here!

金曜日や土曜日になるとプノンペンからカンボジア人のファミリーが遊びに来て少し賑やかになりますがこれは許容範囲です。カンポット市内の他の宿泊施設も全て条件は一緒です。
一部の西洋人がネガティブなレビューを書いていますが、そのようなことは一切ありませんでした。
私は彼らによるネガティブなレビューを読む前にここへの滞在を決めましたが、結果的に彼らの不当なレビューに惑わされずに済んで却ってよかったな と思いました。
ちなみに私は実際直接ここの施設に来て1ヶ月住む契約をしましたが、予約サイトを通すよりも直接ここの施設に来て予約した方が圧倒的に安くなるようです（1泊2泊 程度ではなくそれよりも長く滞在することを検討している人は、ここの宿泊施設のスタッフと交渉することを強くお勧めします）。
I stayed here for nearly a month in 2026, and it was a quiet and comfortable experience. On Fridays and Saturdays, Cambodian families from Phnom Penh come to visit, making it a bit lively, but it’s within an acceptable range. The same applies to all other accommodations in Kampot city.
Some Westerners have left negative reviews, but I experienced nothing of the sort. I decided to stay here before reading their negative reviews, and in the end, I was glad not to be misled by their unfair comments.
By the way, I actually made a contract directly with the facility to stay for a month, and it seems to be significantly cheaper than booking through reservation websites (if you’re considering staying longer than just one or two nights, I strongly recommend negotiating directly with the accommodation staff).
