My stay at Peam Snea Resort was a peaceful experience that delivered on its promise of a relaxing riverside retreat. However, there are several logistical and service-related factors that future guests should consider. The Highlights: The accommodations were clean, spacious, and well-maintained by a dedicated housekeeping team. I particularly enjoyed the bedding; the abundance of pillows made for an excellent night’s sleep, accompanied by the calming sounds of nature. At approximately $75/night during the February Lunar New Year, the room itself felt like a fair value. Logistics & Location: While the setting is private and safe, it is roughly 20 minutes from Kampot’s city center. Travelers should note that ride-hailing apps like Grab are unreliable here, as drivers are often reluctant to make the trip. I relied on the front desk to call tuk-tuks, which cost $5 each way—this can add up quickly, so be sure to carry plenty of cash. Additionally, returning to the resort involves a boat transfer, which is something to keep in mind if you plan on staying out late. Areas for Improvement: Customer Service: The service felt impersonal and occasionally frustrating. A few days ago, I have a staycation at Peam Sne resort. It was a great relaxing experience, all activities there are free☺️Their food also great coming with great portion, the fried chicken was so crispy and yet still juicy inside. Above all, I love the view and the arrangement there. One feedback for improvement would be quicker service and better customer service and support.

The food tastes kind of mild, and the room is very small and not clean. When I asked for a towel, they didn’t even have an extra one to give me. The air conditioner in my room wasn’t even cold. Honestly, I do not recommend coming here.

This place is paradise! We have an absolutely gorgeous room with a private dock on the river. We can hear birds and geckos and leaves rustling in the gentle wind. They have the longest swimming pool I’ve ever seen at a hotel, a pool table, ping pong table and delicious menu. (Most items on the menu are large enough for two people to share.) They also have kayaks which is one of the best reasons to come here: peaceful, late afternoon kayak paddles. Very very recommended!
