Thank you EVP team for an unforgettable experience. We came with an open mind and left with so much new information and appreciation for the work they do together with the local community.
We opted for the 2d1n trip, which was perfect for us. 4 hikes in total with 2 specifically to observe the elephants. Our guides were extremely knowledgable and helpful. The food and hospitality at the basecamp were great as well.
Highly recommend supporting this ethical sanctuary if you are looking to learn more about Cambodia’s wildlife/biodiversity and the elephants. 🫶

I can’t recommend enough this experience. It was just amazing and words are short to describe it! Being so close to the elephants but yet being respectful to their way of living is one of a kind experience.
I recommend staying overnight to really get to learn more about all the rescued elephants and see all their different personalities!
Jack our main guide was awesome, his passion for elephants and conservation of different environments is contagious. He is also very cool guy to just share time on the camp ( plus he is a great singer!)
Food on the camps is very good , fresh and with local products. They take very good consideration of your allergies so nothing to worry about.
Rooms are simple but very comfortable, we opted for the share dorms and were more than enough.
Come and support this initiative !

Amazing people, amazing guides, amazing elephants (of course).
It is really hard to determine which elephant organisation to support, to ensure your money is going to a great cause. EVP does not allow anybody to touch, bathe with or interact with the elephants. They are taken care of by their Mahouts. The other organisation in town and many others elsewhere do not put these into practice and are not considered to be at this level of ethical treatment of the rescued elephants.
I stayed 2 nights, 3 days and I highly recommend the overnight stay. It is such a great way to disconnect (no internet or service!), be in the jungle, and meet more people and learn more about the project. The food is really delicious and you can also buy a beer and catch the sunset from the lounge. Besides getting to see all 6 elephants over the course of the 3 days, I also did a bit of volunteer work and also tr

This was a great experience. The only truly ethical elephant experience in Mondulkiri! They don’t let you ride or wash the elephants and you also have to keep a respectful distance at all times. You also get a light jungle trekking experience, just following them peacefully around the forest.

This is such an amazing project and staying there for two days has been an incredible experience for us!
Our guide Jack was really great, he's fun and so knowledgeable not only about elephants but nature in general - He taught us so much!
We saw four beautiful elephants, had a fun jungle trek and swam under a waterfall, and helped with protecting little bamboo trees planted to feed the elephants near the elephant hospital.
Anyone we met at EVP was so friendly and the food was delicious.
In summary, I can't recommend this enough!
