One Beach Resort by EHM sits on a white-sand beach on Koh Rong Samloem, in Preah Sihanouk, Cambodia. It is a beachfront resort reached only by boat, with no road access. Rooms look out over the beach, and kayaks are free for guests to use.
The setting is secluded. Two other resorts and one other restaurant share the beach, and a small minimart is a few minutes' walk up the hill. The rest of the island is a boat taxi ride away, or a hike of a little over an hour to Lazy Beach and the other beaches. The resort has a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, including seafood.
This suits travellers who want quiet days by the water and are content to stay put — swimming, kayaking and reading rather than moving between beaches and towns. Guests who prefer to come and go independently, or who want a wide choice of restaurants and activities within walking distance, should factor in the boat-only...

The resort is on a white-sand beach on the side of a protrusion on Koh Rong Samloem, in Preah Sihanouk, Cambodia. Access is by boat only; there is no road to the property. Two other resorts and one other restaurant are on the same beach, and a small minimart is a few minutes' walk up the hill. Reaching Lazy Beach or the island's other beaches means a boat taxi, around $30, or a hike of a little over an hour.

Arrival is by boat, so plan transfers in advance and confirm which pier the ferry actually serves. Kayaks are provided free of charge. There are no in-room phones or messaging contacts for reaching the front desk, so expect to walk over for assistance. Dining options on the beach are limited to the resort and one other restaurant, with a small minimart a short walk uphill.
It was a good stay over our company trip. Tranquility and calm. Silent and peaceful. The room is clean and big. But they forget the floor matt for restroom use. Except that, everything was good. The foods served for lunch is very tasty but the seafoods served for dinner doesn't feel fresh and it was limited of supplies. Not sure if it's unwell prepared or limited budget. Another thing to highlight is the lack of communication channel between the room and front desk. My room was so far and they don't have the desk phone or Telegram contact at each room. This is highly recommended.
A very good hotel for a seaside trip. We felt comfortable and at ease. The room was clean and bright, and had everything we needed. The staff were polite and treated us with warmth. It was quiet all around—no one disturbed our sleep. Thank you for your care and the welcoming atmosphere.
Room is extremely small but clean.
The location is mainly the issue because you are isolated from the rest of the island. You either pay 30$ for a boat taxi or hike for a bit more than 1 hour to Lazy beach or the other beaches
Worst experience in SEA by a mile. The ferry which is advertised and recommended by the hotel did not take us to one beach like it said it would, instead it took us to a port the other side of the island and we were just abandoned there with no answers and zero remorse. Luckily the resort staff where we were left were actually helpful and contacted one beach to come and pick us up. Which took over an hour. The resort itself, not worth the price you pay. Totally secluded with nothing to do. The beach covered in a complete high tide so you can’t even enjoy it, let alone sunbathe on it. Luckily the pool filters seem to have been fixed and the pool has full access all day. Food at the restaurant completely overpriced and the menu prices aren’t accurate as you get a 10% vat and 7% service charge added on top which comes as a surprise when you go to pay; this comes even when you want a simple can of coke at the bar. Luckily there’s 2 mini marts near by (2 minute walk) although they have limited stock due to having to get items brought over from the mainland, the second one (furthest away from one beach) has a great food choice for a quarter of the price you’ll pay at the “resort” and tastes much better with amazing service. So if you get hungry would definitely recommend going there. Beds are comfy and rooms pretty clean (apart from the abundance of ants)
All in all this place was a far cry from the dreams you’re sold online and the images you’re shown. So if you desperately do wa
We felt like we were trapped there. The hotel in itself is fine, rooms are clean. But the location is the worst you could imagine. There is no road to go to any other part of the island; when we ask the réception to go to Saracen Bay, or any other part of the island, they will ask for 30$ per person (the return not included) for the taxi boat. The only other way to see the island is to hike through the jungle: which is not so easy and i was not feeling 100% comfortable. It took us around 1h15 to get to lazy beach. Otherwise if you don’t hike and don’t take their taxi boat, you would just stay on the same beach all day long with almost no option to eat or drink.
So my conclusion is : avoid any hotel with this location and just go in the centre of the island or the north.
