The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Pub Street and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, yet the hotel itself is on a quiet street, so it still felt peaceful. The highlight was definitely the service. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel very welcome and were always ready to assist. The pool and gym were both well maintained and great to have after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed the happy hour cocktails, which were excellent value at just USD 2.25. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel with outstanding service. We would happily stay here again.

This was the best part of my stay during my first time of Cambodia. This hotel is centrally located in a sweet spot. Quite enough to relax , but busy enough to be close to all the local good food and busy pub street down the street. Special shout out to staff Bossaba, Vichara, Ousa, Heng for being so accommodating. Didn’t get the names of the 5th floor spa staff and pool staff but wow , makes me want to come back just because of them. This place was heaven after a heavy day of exploring Ankor Wat. Everyone knew where this hotel was , so no need to get lost. Loved the breakfast , as I judge places based off their offerings. Was amazing way to start day.

I have lived in and travelled to Cambodia for over 20 years. This hotel is a great find - great location (easy walking distance to Pub Street, great restaurants, Hyatt, Hospitals); amazing service (Pheara at the front desk went above and beyond to help with all of our family's requests including finding the best photo services, nail salons, and printing documents for my work meetings); and large, clean, stylish new rooms. The pool and food was also exceptional. Good value for money. I will definitely go back.

I had a wonderful stay at Koulen Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their service really made my stay feel special. I also loved the peaceful atmosphere and great facilities, especially the pool. The location is very convenient and easy to get around. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Koulen Hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. I will definitely come back again!

I've been to Siem Reap maybe a dozen times and the last 3 visits I stayed at this hotel's sister property three blocks away, Koulen Hotel. Koulen Central Hotel is maybe a more spectacular hotel than its older sister. The lobby and decor is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and wonderful. Its huge with decorative eye-candy everywhere. They didn't spare an expense in building this place. My room was very good, particular the bed that was heavenly. Everything worked well. Fast wifi. Plenty of outlets. Smart TV with an endless array of TV channels. The location can't be beat. 3 blocks closer to the touristy Pub Street than the Koulen Hotel. 5 minute walk to the action. The property deserves 5-stars however I give it 4-stars for the following reason. Like the older Koulen Hotel, it boasts of a fantastic swimming pool. I swim twice a day and its important for my exercise. When I arrived I was told the swimming pool is closed for a planned renovation. I was seriously disappointed. Although they have another smaller swimming pool, its more for children and is shallow. They could have notified me prior given all the emails I received from them daily. In that case I would have switched back to the Koulen Hotel (same owner). Instead they chose to not notify their guests and offer a free tuktuk ride to the older hotel to use their pool. Too much hassle for me including dressing and undressing twice. I didn't swim. I booked an "Atrium View" room. Mistake.
