My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Karma Bayon Hotel from 13–20 June 2026 during our holiday in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The hotel provided a comfortable, clean, and peaceful environment that made our trip truly enjoyable. The location was convenient for visiting the famous Angkor temples and other attractions around Siem Reap. The rooms were well maintained, and the hospitality from all the staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile.
A special thank you goes to Mr. Mab, our Tuk Tuk driver, who made our Cambodia experience even more memorable. Mr. Mab was always punctual, professional, honest, and very knowledgeable about the local attractions. He ensured we traveled safely and comfortably to Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, the Landmine Museum, and many other places. His warm personality, patience, and genuine care for his guests made us feel like family rather than tourists.
We highly recommend Karma Bayon Hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap, and if you need transportation, Mr. Mab is the perfect Tuk Tuk driver to help you explore Cambodia. Karma Bayon is located very close to the local markets and Pub Street. The property is full of lush trees, which gives it a really wonderful, relaxing vibe. Plus, it features two well-maintained swimming pools.
Our room was beautiful and perfectly situated right next to the pool. Both the room and the attached washroom were spacious and clean, and the housekeeping was flawless.
The morning breakfast was delicious, with the Cambodian soup and egg preparations being particular highlights. They also offered a great selection of Indian and Western dishes. The cafeteria staff—Khunna, Horng, Ka, and Sakwath—were incredibly attentive, pleasant, and courteous.
If you are staying here, don't miss the Saturday get-together and the Wednesday quiz night. These events are a great opportunity to mingle and make friends with other guests over drinks.
The administrative staff at Karma Bayon was highly approachable and always eager to help with local sightseeing or resolving any issues. Chris, Sambha, and Sandeep were exceptionally helpful.
In a nutshell, Karma Bayon is a great place to stay with wonderful, courteous staff. Highly recommended!

First time at a Karma property- just blown away by the entire experience.
The compound is landscaped beautifully with tropical flora & fauna - 2 pools - one freshwater another saltwater. Great spa services (they gave us spa credit so it was free). Rooms are large - ours was a studio- no kitchenette but you don’t need it here - they’ll offer to heat up any food you want. Refrigerator in room - for cold drinks. Large bath area - no water splashing outside (a pet peeve with me).
They have a happy hour every day - a bar kinda atmosphere-meet other guests - make friends. They make arrangements for all the tours you want to do which are pretty luxurious. You know the car is nice and they provide you with chilled water/refreshing tissues, etc. The location is very nice. It’s kind of a good distance from the temple, which is about maybe 20 minutes drive by tuk-tuk and the PUB Street which is a happening place - it just takes two dollars one way by tuk tuk so it’s really nice. We also did Kullen NP- a whole day tour with the reclining Buddha, Waterfall (very refreshing to take a dip) and the river with thousand submerged Shiva Lingas is also interesting.
The sunset tour to the Great Lake Tonle Sap exposes you to the local village living & we saw a beautiful sunset
The Apsara dance show at Amazon Angkor was splendid.
The staff here is just amazing always smiling and helpful. I think it was one of our best experiences compared to otherRCI exchanged resorts.

Rooms are very good. They have 2 pools. One of the pool is a salt water pool. The service is very good. The steam bath, hot and cold jacuzzi are also good. Breakfast options are good.

Fantastic place to stay — close to the city life and many attractions. The property is beautiful, but what really makes it special is the local people, especially the tuk tuk drivers.
Map is an absolute legend! He provides great service and goes above and beyond to give you the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a reliable and friendly tuk tuk driver, ask for Map — highly recommended!
