If you don’t practice what you preach, making rules is pointless. We were about to enter this cave, but the two guys renting rock climbing gear said we weren’t allowed in unless we hired their guide service. They were basically trying to force us to pay for something we didn’t need. Funny how there are signs everywhere saying “Don’t litter,” yet they’re the ones bringing plastic into the area every day. The people enforcing the rules are the ones with the least respect for them.

Small underrated archeological site. There's fossilized ancient corals and sweet smelling cave mushroom here. It's also a rock climbing site, and the area for non-rock climbers will require a little climbing a squeezing. Highly recommend to get a guide to help show you around the place, they're usually waiting at the cafe across from the entrance.

Nice cave. No admission. You can rock climb by booking online or walking up at Climbodia for a hike and reppel down.

Small cave where you can do some independent exploration if you like. Not too difficult, not too easy. There are quite a few paths to explore. When you arrive a man from Climbodia will ask if you need a guide. It's up to you whether you want one. He was not pushy at all, just trying to offer his services. They are professionals and speak good English. The price quoted was $5 but I'm sure you can bargain down.

A truly lovely place. The staff are all so friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is great. We ate here every day we stayed in Kampot! Would definitely recommend and it's all for a great cause. Ps. Definitely order the carrot cake :)

A great cafe with an amazing concept! The staff is so nice and very attentive, food is really good and fresh and they have amazing pastry’s! I had the Panini, the Bruschetta and a Vanilla Cheesecake and everything was so good! Besides that you support their NGO with every visit. Would definitely recommend a visit at epic arts cafe when in Kampot :)

amazing food spot. we came for lunch and got the tofu korean bagel and the blt and both were delicious. all fresh ingredients and they make the bagels in house. very good value and funds education and training for children and people with disabilities in kampot. the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice and chilled. great spot!

We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast here this morning. I had a Mediterranean Panini and side salad which was tasty, fresh and light. Definitely one of the better breakfasts we’ve had in Kampot. Highly recommend.

Great place for authentic homemade pasta. It’s not a traditional restaurant but a small setup in someone’s home, which gives it a unique and personal atmosphere. The pasta is truly homemade (no machine), and you can taste the difference. The gnocchi were perfectly soft and delicate, and the sauce was excellent. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. A couple of things to keep in mind: portions could be a bit more generous, and the location is quite remote, so it can be difficult to get a Grab back. It’s better to have your own scooter and be independent. Also, they only accept cash.

The Italian owner (Diego) really knows how to cook. It’s super authentic freshly made pasta using an old school manual pasta machine. He cooks it right from his home so it has a nice homely feel. We went during the low season so overall the country isn’t so busy so we were always served immediately. I highly recommend coming here especially if you’ve got a long SEA trip ahead of you. Food was so good we went twice while in Kampot. Check the opening times as well so you know when to arrive!

The freshest, most delicious pasta I have ever had, having never been to Italy. The setting is a patio overlooking beautiful farm land, where all of the herbs and other ingredients are harvested directly from. Even the actual pasta is made from scratch on order!

The food is absolutely incredible, truly authentic Italian food- the definition of a hidden gem! The owner Diego from Italy is amazing and so sweet, you can taste the passion for Italian food in his cooking! Went here twice during my short stay in kampot and hope to be back again for more of the homemade pesto, gnocchi & ravioli!!

Absolute gem of a place to find, with a friendly owner/chef, in the beautiful countryside of Kampot. I’ve been in Cambodia for a couple of months and have loved the Khmer food but to have traditional homemade Italian food was an absolute treat too. I’ve seen other reviews where people have said about having to wait, but it needs to be kept in mind that the food is being prepared and cooked fresh with one person…I personally felt it was worth the wait and highly recommend you visit. Can’t wait to visit again that’s for sure!!

We had a truly wonderful experience visiting the mangrove forest. The local community was incredibly welcoming, which added a special touch to our visit. The boat tour itself was excellent—the service was friendly and professional, and the pricing was very reasonable for such a memorable trip. Supporting this community initiative while enjoying the beautiful natural landscape was a highlight. Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning 🫶🏽❤️ the welcoming from local people, the mangroves that grow so much around the community is pretty. I went there on raining season, so the level of water is kinda higher, uncle told me that if I came in the morning I can actually catch clams, cockles by myself 😭so sad that I miss it. They actually have place for people to do the tent and also small bungalows are available to rent too, it is the best for sunset view. Will stay over a night next time. Highly recommend this

A lovely coastal community filled with mangrove trees awaits you. It's the great spot to unwind and take in the stunning views of the mangroves. It’s a nice walk with the beautiful scenery surrounding. The room is designed to reflect the charm of a Cambodian countryside house. It affordable price and you can make your own barbecue there. You also can take a boat trip to observe, explore, or even plant mangrove trees for just $15. The coconuts here are incredibly sweet, leaving you feeling refreshed and recharged. It’s such a delightful experience!

Nice friendly place. A bit smaller than the main one on Hwy 3. But they make up for it with extra effort. A fair selection of new phones and even larger selection of accessories all at reasonable prices.

I find seafood in Kampot cheaper and better quality than in Kep, even though Kep is famous for its crab. Many times when I bought from Kep Crab Market, the quality didn’t match the price. I prefer buying fresh seafood in Kampot, cooking it, and bringing it back—it’s a bit more hectic, but definitely worth it for the taste. There’s also a good variety of dried seafood to choose from. If you don’t mind the smell and chaos of a local fresh market, Kampot is worth it!

Perfect English. 4 floors high with elevator. Has EVERYTHING a new house needs. From fans, matrasses to tables seats couches and smoothie makers. Good prices, excellent service. Free delivery after certain amount ;)

All fresh seafood you can find in Kampot! I found best seafood at evening time and rarely have disappointment after cook 👩‍🍳 The price out there needs to be negotiated, you gotta get good deal if you know market price and better at price negotiation. 😌😌

Driving along street by the beach, all the way to the new beach and close to the new home of Kampot governor. Strolling around the city by walk and feel the breezy air at every corner of the town. Charming town with loads of French Colonial architecture. Is pretty commercial, but had a good array of restaurants and hotels. Id say worth a day or two, but maybe not more. Say yes to a pepper farm tour.

When I come to this place it reminds me when I come to live in kampot at the first time.This night market is bring me all the best memories.I remember that I always come here with my grandma 👵 to buy fried rice.It was really delicious 🤤 I come here a lot with my friends this year.Still a good place to hang out with friends or family.Also this place is kid friendly.I came here buz my brother want to.My favorite things to do is ride the hen or chicken 🐔That looks dangerous but I’m a men so I ride it many times already😁 Recommend 👍

Lots of small shops here and there are few eateries here that offers tasty budget meals. It's at the iconic Durian roundabout. Many stalls selling cheap clothing, etc.

Kampot night market is charming place. it has a lot of textile shops, eateries and kid's fun area. Its mostly for local community but tourist is also purchasing items.

An amazing local market where you can find pretty much everything. There’s food, fresh fruit, drinks, fish, meat, seafood, clothes, jewelry, and toys. You’ll also find hair salons, key cutting services, and places that repair clothes or shoes. It’s mainly visited by locals, which gives the market a very authentic atmosphere.

bizarrely not the market itself which sells fresh fruit, fish, and local clothing, but the kiosks on the north side were the only place where we could find mangosteen (at $3-$4 per kilo) and very fresh.. Lots of other Asian fruits such as sugar apple and salak (thanks to google image search!).. Really bustling in the morning with tuk tuk and motorbikes choking the roads..

*Local market with all functions, seafood, meats, clothes, fruit…etc. *crab cost 3-4us/kg, cook fee1-3us/kg,will close around pm5.

Good market with many things to eat and buy, however, less parking spots.

Good place to find better deals and you best shit at a one places has it all kind of shopping. BTW. If you want to get good picks on food come around 5am right after most vendors are set up and to avoid food sitting out longer.
