It's a Lord Vishnu's Statue. Beautiful and very Big you can see the beauty of Artist 😍

The traffic in Battambang is good.

This is the great statue in Battambong city

Trying to count the arms while driving and the godly sixpack are kinda distracting while going around and around and around... loved playing Limp Bizkid's Rolling while getting nauseaus from the loops.

Boost Coffee and Bistro provides a high quality dining experience in a comfortable environment. The interior features interesting artwork, while the outside space is relaxed and well furnished. During our visit, the service was excellent; Taing Silvlin, Srey Neth Oa, and her daughter Pen Salineth were professional, welcoming, and friendly. The food was fresh and well prepared. We ordered the vegetarian burritos, which were flavorful and utilised high quality ingredients. Additionally, the taco chips served with guacamole were crisp and seasoned correctly. The coffee was fresh and served at the appropriate temperature. Overall, the restaurant maintains a high standard for both its menu and its atmosphere. The combination of quality vegetarian options, reliable service, and a pleasant seating area makes it a recommendable spot for a meal. The staff members ensure that guests feel accommo

Incredible local food!! The stir fried sticky spicy chicken, and veg cooked in Cambodian spice mix, were phenomenal! The western food comes out rather deep fried (partner had chicken burger and chips and it was a bit shmeh...) but my local food was beautiful! Great staff, fairly quiet when we went and there was also a tiny pug puppy we could say hello to! Great place for great Khmer food

I’m not one to leave a bad review unless something is really bad but this was. The lady taking our order didn’t say a word to us, it was really awkward. The food itself was standard price, we got the omelette with toast and the vegetarian burrito. The omelette was raw in the centre and the bread was fully stale. The burrito had, Genuiney, 6-7 hairs in it, see pic. It’s not even that cheap, very normal price for Battambang. The coffee (iced cappuccino) looked great but tasted pretty below average.

We had lunch at Boost Coffee and Bistro in Battambang and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, freshly made, and arrived quickly after we ordered. The menu offers a good selection of both food and drinks, so there's something for everyone whether you're stopping by for a full meal or just a quick coffee break. The interior is cozy and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that makes it a great spot to unwind. It's clearly a popular place—there was a steady flow of customers the whole time we were there, yet the service remained fast and friendly. The staff were attentive and polite, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the comfortable atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you could easily come back to multiple times, whether you’re a local or just visiting the area. Overall, Boos

Psar Boeung Chhouk was our ‘supermarket’ before Lucky Supermarket came to Battambang. It is a cornucopia of sights and smells. If it has a heart beat and isnt on the protected species list, there’s a good chance you might find it here. It is a proper local market in the heart of the city. There’s some good breakfast food to be had around the edges and at the undercover area west end of the market. My favourite was lort cha. If you come to Battambang it is well worth spending an hour or so wandering the market. The best time to come is in the morning - before 8:30 if you can

Very much a local market with lots of hustle and bustle. Go early morning when it's all happening and venture through rows of fresh veggies and fruit, all sorts of cuts of meat, fish and seafood to feast the eyes. Just try and stay out of the way of everyone carrying heavy boxes of produce as you navigate your way through.

I’ve came by here at different time of the day and can safely say to come before 8.30am to experience the bustling morning market. Live fishes were jumping around in baskets, breakfast meals and fresh produces. Crowded with locals. Let your senses be overwhelmed here.

Local wet market that we can find local products such as fish, pork, chicken, vegetables, groceries, clothes and even jewellery.

It is comprehensive market, 2 floors, including food, groceries, clothes….etc, at least 2 floors

Phare is a really motivating and inspiring organization. Starting with their shows, they’re breathtaking. I didn’t expect this level of talent and quality but they managed to surprise me multiple times during the show. The stories they tell are also impactful and make you learn more about cambodia as a whole in such a entertaining and beautiful way. But most importantly, its how this is an almost auto sustainable NPO that helps hundreds and hundreds of children and their families to recieve shelter, food and most importantly quality education. It moved my heart to see people so passionate for what they do and have such a caring motivation behind.

A must do in Battambang! We really enjoyed the show at Phare Ponleu Selpak! We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The site itself is very pleasant and worth walking around. The show was absolutely fabulous! Very talented young artists! It just transports you for an hour. We were completely in the story and admired their talents. It's nice to see them enjoy sharing their art with us. The music was also fabulous. It's easy to get to and from by tuk tuk if you stay in Battambang. Enjoy this wonderful show!

The show was excellent kids can have fun just go with your kids here your kids will like it and go there one time and review us in Google maps

Fabulous performance and so much enthusiasm! The quality of the performers is amazing, some acts you will not even find in Cirque du Soleil! Highly recommended! The school visit during daytime is also interesting!

I visited here during the day to look around and it’s really impressive. A school that also teaches circus skills and creative performing arts. I also attended an evening circus performance by students. Outstanding! We had dinner onsite before the performance. Students from the school frequently go on to perform professionally in SiemReap and a number of alumni are recognised contemporary Cambodian artist with developing international profiles. Not only is this a social enterprise that deserves support it is an entertaining night out.

Excellent western style breakfast, I highly recommend! Their delicious bread is home-made, it is really to die for. Portions are good and it is served with a side of fresh local fruits. I went there twice

Their homemade bagels were heavenly. It was also served warm. Honestly the food was plenty for even a big eater like myself. $5 for the set with eggs, bagels, coffee and fruits. It was worth it!

We had breakfast here this morning. It got recommended by somebody who also recommended La Rose to us (which is also very good). We got so much for just 3,5 $. The self made bread is delicious and I got the poached eggs. Perfectly soft! And you get fruit, butter or jam and water with it as well.

we went here twice in one day for breakfast and dinner. they offer a wide range of things amd have special deals which include drinks and dessert for such a good price. the most amazing, friendly staff who even opened late for us to have dinner. couldn’t recommend more

Lovely cafe with delicious food and coffee. Super clean and great atmosphere. Meals are big and super filling, with some free sides chucked in depending what you order.

I’ve been living in Cambodia for over a year, so I have a good sense of local standards. This restaurant positions itself at a higher level, with prices above average, which naturally sets certain expectations. I recently dined there and overall had a pleasant experience, though there were a few small issues. The waitress wasn’t able to explain what “Christine Mansfield's Pork and Crab Congee” consisted of. I specifically asked for a non-spicy soup, but it was served spicy. The shrimp were not fully cleaned (the tails were still on), and I would have preferred them pan-fried rather than simply boiled. There also seemed to be a lack of napkins, and I had to ask separately for salt and pepper. I was slightly concerned that the bottle of cider may have been opened while I was in the restroom, although the waitress assured me it had been opened earlier while we were talking — which I may sim

This restaurant was a great finding while in Battambang! We've ordered fish amok and chicken green curry. It was extremely tasty and with great quality. A bit more expensive than the other local restaurants, but it was totally worth it!

Excellent 👌! Food, staff, the atmosphere and location are all fantastic at the time of this writing. A little bit pricey compared to other restaurants but still worth the visit.

We had three starters from here and they were incredible. Really recommend the mushroom dumplings. Plenty of vegetarian options. Also, it's an incredible social enterprise helping alleviate poverty.

Lovely little dinner spot in Battambang! Immediately seated in their indoor seating space, which is well air conditioned and has many pictures across the walls. We had food not too long before visiting, so instead opted for a few of their small plates. Ordered the mushroom and eggplant dumplings, mushroom bao buns, and sweet corn fritters, which proved more than enough for us. Highlight was the dumplings, which were fresh and flavourful with a delightful sweet dipping sauce. Bao were also great and again served with a tangy sauce that brought it together. Fritters were good, although quite sense and almost cakey which we just hadn't been expecting, but still tasted good. Menu features options such as a six course set menu, and opportunity to order what a staff member had for lunch, a touch that I really enjoyed! Will likely return to try out some of the main dishes. Lovely service throug

My partner and I visited Joseba’s Human Gallery in July 2023. We highly recommend coming here if you have an hour or two in Battambang. Joseba, the photographer, personally met us and shared his story about traveling around the world (including Africa, India, and Southeast Asia) to meet and photograph people from 2010-2022, of which seven of these years were on bicycle and many years were working with UNICEF. His story is inspirational and we loved his photos - particularly his portrait photos of people around the developing world. We decided to purchase two larger photos for our home because they were beautiful and compelling. Joseba donates proceeds from photo sales towards education for disadvantaged children near Battambang, and you can donate directly as well. This visit was very worthwhile for us and we were glad we went!

Beautiful exhibition at Human Gallery, a must do in Battambang! We met Joseba when we walked in and he was so friendly, he talked to us about his story and about some of the people he's photographed over the years. Really inspiring stuff. All of his photos are for sale in various different sizes which are a great way to support him and his great cause. Don't sleep on this and go have a look!

Highly recommended!!! Must go before he moves away from Siem Reap! It was very interesting to hear him sharing his stories and experience cycling around the world. Also, he mentioned he is planning another tour coming up real soon. His determination really is inspiring and motivating. His photographs tell stories, from the people he captured, you can see they speak to you. It’s cool that there is also postcard side photo that you can buy, though there are many other sizes too. And he actually handwritten the location and year on the back of the photo, that’s very thoughtful. He also let us try some of his homemade liquors. Strong liquor with interesting taste.

A eye-opening and heart-warming must-see in Battambang. Joseba is very personable and he will show you around the gallery. His journey is epic and salutary.

We were really glad we stopped by the gallery. You don’t always expect the photographer to be present, but Joseba greeted us warmly, and very kindly explained his story and answered any questions about the photos. We stayed for two hours in the end, so many of the photos are very powerful and moving that I felt I could just stare at some of them. Of course it’s very interesting to chat to Joseba also, he’s had an adventurous life and has a lot of stories to tell! The gallery is an excellently renovated colonial building which is lovely in itself. Finally the prints are great quality and we ended up getting 10 of them to post to friends and just for ourselves. Probably the best thing we did in Battambang!
