An excellent "oasis" in rural Prey Veng who are pet friendly. Definitely not what you would expect to find in this area....in fact it out classes some of the accommodation properties in major towns, and at USD15 per night, it is excellent value. The place looks really new, and the rooms are air conditioned, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped, and all have private bathrooms....even a private, open carport for a vehicle or motorbikes. The place is also relatively quiet, too. The beds aren't rockhard, only slightly on the firm side, so quite acceptable. The hot water is substantial with adequate pressure. The only small fault is that the flatscreen TV in my room did not have any aerial connection, so it's pretty much a monitor. Outside, they have a garden area with an undercover patio (with a large table and chairs) for outdoor dining or BBQ. Apart from the equally impressive Chinese restaurant next door (another unexpected surprise too), there are no close food options. You would have to ride/drive into the town (about 5-10 minutes away). The Prey Veng district is a nice, rural place to visit and is most definitely worth a night or two to explore the region, especially on your own motorbike. And in my opinion this would be the only place you'd want to stay at. I would not hesitate in returning and using the Daily Prey Veng Guesthouse for my accommodations. Sorry, but I forgot to take photos of the rooms.
